MRA Grand Hotel — Hotel in Dubai

Last month, my brother stayed at MRA Grand Hotel on Rolla Street. Due to a sudden plan, his family had to travel to India, so we were in need of an affordable and comfortable place to stay for a week. After checking several hotels and apartments, we received a recommendation for MRA Grand—and we’re glad we chose it!

From the moment we arrived, we had a great experience. The morning reception team, especially two staff members Binitha and Karman were extremely helpful and efficient. Any request we made was handled within seconds.

My brother stayed for around 4–5 days before leaving for India, and even during his travel, the ground staff extended their support. A senior person Name Hamid who handles the reception at night was also very polite and helpful.

We stayed during Ramadan, and during that time, the hospitality shown by the staff was truly touching. They would always check on us, asking if we had eaten, and they even provided food during suhoor/iftar. It was a very heartwarming gesture.

Overall, MRA Grand Hotel is one of the best budget-friendly hotels in the Bur Dubai area. The staff, service, and hospitality were excellent.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say, it was the WORST hotel experience of my life. I was extremely disappointed with the overall service. From the moment we checked in, there were several issues that made our stay far from enjoyable.

The staff's attitude was less than welcoming, and it felt like they were not attentive to guests' needs. There's no towel in the bathroom, phone is not working to make a call even in their Reception. The worst part was someone opened our room at 5am, good thing my husband is alert and run to close it. We called the Reception using our mobile phone to complaint and they didn't even bothered to check on us and even called us back to explain what happen. During our check out, still they are not explaining their side not until we asked. As an excuse they said it is the Bellboy who has the master key of all the rooms. They don't even know that there is guest on their room.

Overall, my experience at this hotel was far from what I expected, and I cannot recommend it to others based on these issues. It's essential for hotels to prioritize cleanliness, guest satisfaction, SAFETY and clear communication, all of which were lacking...

Do not stay here. It is pretty much a scam.

My company booked this hotel for my business trip thru a booking website. On my arrival night, they noticed me that the booking wasnt shown on their system so I couldnt be able to get a room until the issue is solved. As it was past midnight and we just finished my long flight, I decided to pay 500UAE out of my pocket so I (and my customers) could get rooms to rest and let the issue to be handled by next morning. The CEO SARDAR told me that my payment will be refunded once the reservation is paid to the hotel in July. And now it is August, he blocked me on whatsapp and the hotel kept silent on my inquiry regardings this matter.
