Stayed for two nights in Cambridge: Pros Location and size of flat Layout was good Washing machine and dryer Parking is available

Cons: Stains and rubbish in the communal areas - strange smell off-putting when first arriving Parking isn't guaranteed 1st come 1 at served ( the surrounding roads are narrow and parking is limited). This isn't described on booking.com site only when you book do you find out about parking lottery You have to report any issues with the property within 2 hours otherwise the company will take your silence as satisfactory I reported leaking shower scuffed walls etc within 2 hours Got a reply on the second day but no fixes. Scuffed walls Leaking shower - I could put my finger in the gap between the screen and wall no real way to avoid water pouring through the gap onto the bathroom floor As a consequence the bathroom smelt strongly of damp Ant traps bathroom Damp tubs - lounge and bathroom trying to control damp - fix the shower screen fixes the damp issue Mould in the shower No washing up cloths Warning signs of excess electricity use being charged for. Again leaves a bad impression perhaps had issues with previous tenants.

I wouldn't book again mainly due to damp smells, leaking shower and the aggressive nature of having to report within 2 hours of any fault. I can't see many people trying out all the facilities in two hours! Even then the company didn't repair or offer alternatives...

This unit was in a safe convenient location and an easy walk to the Jesus Green park and central town. Also close to bus route, local grocery stores and restaurants/pubs. We were able to get a park on-site and managed the narrow streets in our rental car so this was really helpful. The unit was impeccably clean, with well equiped kitchen for our cooking needs. The dishwasher and washing machine a bonus. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom modern and clean. This apartment is great. It is very convenient to get to Cambridge city center, just a 15-20 minute walk, and the scenery along the way is beautiful. The layout inside the apartment is excellent, with the bedroom and living room/kitchen separated, making it ideal for a family. You can gather together or enjoy privacy without disturbing each other. The apartment is clean and tidy, and the kitchen is well-equipped. When any issues arise, the property manager responds promptly. I really like this apartment, and I would choose to stay here again when I visit Cambridge...
