Reply to owners feedback: Hi Ben, thanks for your reply, that makes sense, however I still feel that it should be explained prior to purchasing or there should be a separate “sit down menu” with the charges. I was only informed of the fee when the bottle was half opened. There are other wine shops in Cambridge which also operate as a shop and a bar but do not charge this fee.

Food trucks rotate around, but every one I've tried has been very tasty. Front room is bright and energetic, while the cozy back den has extra seating. The owners are excellent at keeping their beer selection updated on Untappd and Instagram, as well as the webpage. Taps rotate frequently and there's a single cask selection that offers things you won't find at your traditional pub. There's plenty of additional beers in can to buy, as well as wine and gin. Read moreCambridge has some excellent pubs. Even some of the Green King pubs are decent here. Thirsty is an outstanding place. It has a huge range of beers and extremely knowledgeable staff. It has a very diverse clientele, at least in terms of age. The music is excellent (and I generally hate music in pubs!), and there is a very civilized vibe.
I don't want to sound too enthusiastic because it's not very big and I like to find a seat. Also, it has some high quality competition, which, for some events, might be preferable.
