28 North Bridge Lofts — Hotel in City of Edinburgh

Stayed here in February in a studio apartment for 2 nights with my boyfriend, as we went to a gig at the corn exchange. On the first night the water pressure went and the shower was completely cold. He'd already had a shower and the hot water went completely. We'd had a long day seeing the sites and we were both sweaty as it had been hot. I was very unhappy as I'd just woken up and wanted to shower as well before we went out for dinner that night, so we contacted the landlord. He was amazing, immediately sorted us out another room for the night while he got someone in to look at the water pressure in our room, which meant I could shower before dinner. We were upgraded to this nicer room, which he said we could have had for both nights if not for the fact it was booked the next day. On top of this when we went back down to our room in the morning on the next day, the boiler had already been sorted, the water pressure was working fine, and the landlord had left us a box of lidnt chocolates and a bottle of bollinger to apologise for the misunderstanding. This was a nice touch. This place was very secure with a coded entry on the doors and the studio was very nice. My only criticisms would be the bed was far too close to the ceiling (fine for me, but my boyfriend is 6'2 and kept nearly banging his head) and although there was a lift, we didn't realise the studio bed would be up a ladder, as a disabled person I struggled. It was also a little bit cold due to it being an old building, however none of that stops this place getting 5 stars. Absolutely wonderful accommodations in a great central location. Apartment was outstanding with a nice kitchen and room to spread out. Exceptionally clean and the check in process was wonderful. Luggage storage prior to and after check-in/out was really convenient....

We stayed in the attic suite and it was an amazing view of Edinburgh and the location was perfect. The only 2 things we did not expect were the narrow stairs up the suite from the foyer and the internet throughout the apartment was sparse and only really worked...
