Superb accommodation and hosting. I stayed elsewhere in Eastbourne last week and the other hotel was more expensive and of really poor upkeep, I even hid my belongings in the room as I expected the rooms to be burgled due to the state of the hotel and unsavoury charchters able to walk in and out freely. Breakers was to the contrary, it felt safe and secure, it is a well kept property, impeccable cleanliness. Bed was comfortable, breakfast offerings were more than enough. I wasn’t able to eat all of my breakfast and Mark Kindly made a bacon Buttie for me to take with me for the day. I have read other reviews that breakers was expensive but having stayed at the other more expensive hotel in the area I disagree with the previous reviews that others have left. It’s excellent value. You won’t be disappointed. There is free on street parking two minutes along the parade and back streets which is a bonus. No parking concerns at all. Right on the beach, short walk to town, easy bus route outside and the ‘Dotto train’ goes by too. Pier is 10-15 mins away on foot. Good array of multi cultural restaurants within walking distance, Greek, Asian and African. I would stay here...
Read moreJust came back from a 3 night stay with my friend, the B & B is in a great location right next to the beach and 10/15 minute walk into town. We stayed in Room 6 which comes with a double bed and a sea view balcony which was perfect! The room itself is a great size immaculately clean specifically the en suite which was sparkly clean, Our room was cleaned daily too, the bed was a small double I have a super king at home but can honestly say was the comfiest bed and slept well. We had breakfast included which was delicious clearly fresh produce and the eggs were banging bright orange from the farm which was a nice touch… Apon arrival we met Mark who was very welcoming and a lovely gentleman, he served us each morning for breakfast and even remembered how we took our coffees. This was our first time to Eastbourne and it didn’t disappoint plenty of places to eat in the town and a decent nightlife too, the trip was definatley made better by staying here ‘ thanks Mark for being a great host and to Christine (although we did not meet) for I assume cooking etc. We will definatley be...
Read moreSimply cannot find any fault. Absolutely lovely place, spotlessly clean and very conveniently situated close to the beach front, city centre and all amenities. Plenty of free parking on the side streets and behind the guesthouse. The hosts, Mark and Christine, are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had a lovely double room on the top floor, coffee tea and biscuits replenished daily and a mini fridge. The shower was powerful (not usually our experience on a top floor!) and plenty of piping hot water. Lovely full English breakfast included each morning with plenty of variety, including cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit etc and lighter options on request. |We would have no hesitation staying here again should we return to Eastbourne. Thank you so much Mark and Christine for being absolutely...
