Lovely little place, the gentleman at the reception was very helpful. Asked if I knew Porthcawl if I needed directions for food/ shops etc. Showed me where the key drop was for self check put as I was checking out at 5.45 AM so didn't need to worry about disturbing anybody. The room had everything you could need, mini fridge, microwave, ironing board, kettle, tea, coffee, busicuits, 2 fans, an oil radiator encase you got cold, lots of plug sockets, lamps and a mirror I could actually use which is unusual as I'm 5ft most mirrors are way too tall for me. |I stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, rhete was shampoo dispensers in the very clean easy to use shower, the shampoo was very useful as I had forgotten to take my own. |The bed was super comfy and clean. |The B&B is close to everything which you need, the fair is opposite the building but is closed by around 9.30 pm so isn't too noisy. There's about a minute walk to the beach, pubs, takeaways, amusement arcades and close links for busses as well. |Its a lovely place, I am hoping to return next June and will recommend to others especially those who are sojng rhe Vale of Glamorgan Ultra marathon as it is less than 4 minutes walk to the start line. |Thank you I had a very relaxing evening, first time traveling alone and you made me feel very welcome, the WiFi password being on the door meant I didn't have to go to reception when my phone dropped the WiFi and needed to re-enter...
Read moreMyself and my teenager found ourselves booking into bayside guest house after a disaster with accommodation in Swansea. First I want to say how delighted we were at the warm and friendly welcome we received from the owner. Nothing was too much trouble and he was on hand if we needed anything. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed in it. I enjoyed having my coffee at the table on the decking looking down the road at the sea in the mornings. We were told about local events and well informed of what was happening in the local area by the landlord. The neighbours and other guests made us feel very welcome, so much so we jumped at the chance of booking an extra night when we were offered it because there had been a cancellation. We will definitely be returning to this little gem of a place as it made my teenager as happy as I was which isn’t easy :). Thank you so much for making our holiday as good as it possibly could’ve been see...
Read moreI booked this B&B quite last minute on a roadtrip to Wales. The rate was excellent, one of the cheapest in the area as I wasn't looking for anything extortionate. I was a solo traveller, so I had a single room that was well sized, very cosy and quiet. The room was equipped with a well placed TV, two beds, one which I used to dump all my stuff on, a bedside table, clothes rail and a desk with a microwave, kettle and lamp. The bathroom was just along the hall and the place seemed nice and quiet around the time I was there. The only thing I might say is to offer more teabags to the rooms as I'm quite the heavy tea drinker.||I didn't have breakfast but being able to walk out to a sunny morning and have a gorgeous sandy beach right there in front of you is definitely...
