02.08.2025: Our latest visit to Hotel Peppers to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary.

A lot has happened in the last 50 years, Peppers have had quality refurbishment to a high standard, with new owners, our 1975 room is now the bar. We had a warm welcome from Sanjeev & Sabita, who made us feel like friends from the moment we arrived. We felt honoured Sanjeev & Sabita joined our little celebration.

Hotel Peppers is an Edwardian building with history. Nice decking area at the rear to just sit and relax.

Our room was a nice size with a king-size bed, quality toiletries, towels and bedding. Room was spotlessly clean and tidy as was the hotel in general.

Fold out balcony was a bonus, tea and coffee making facilities.

Breakfast was cooked to perfection and tasty.

Car park at the rear for 4 cars was useful.

Peppers is ideal for visiting Torquay or using as a base to travel around the area. We walked from Torquay to Paignton in a little under an hour, spent 2 hours there, then walked back comfortably.

From the moment you get to the location it's obvious that San and his wife are passionate about their business. The hotel along with the rooms are spotless, we stayed for 5 days and couldn't be happier with the treatment we received, nothing was too much trouble the breakfasts are absolutely amazing, cereal followed by yoghurt and berries, a full English cooked to perfection everytime, plenty of toast and jams along with a well stocked fruit bowl of bananas, oranges, tangerines, apples and kiwi fruit, to the rear of the property there are parking spaces and a lovely decking area with comfy seating and a real sun trap from early morning to late afternoon, at the front of the property is a bus stop to catch a bus going to babbacombe or the opposite side, Paignton Brixham etc, a walk down to the harbour front is a couple of mins passing an Indian, Chinese, Italian and American themed restaurants, The best fish and chip shop is also just at the bottom of the hill, a must try, overall had an absolutely fantastic time, thank you and all the best,...

We had a fabulous stay at Peppers hotel its like home from home big spacious rooms very comfortable bed and lots of free complementarys making your stay extra special everything has been very well thought out by the owner who goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect .Breakfast is lovely with lots of choice well presented and service with a smile . There is free parking and in Torquay quite hard to find a hotel that does not charge extra The hotel also has a lovely decking area with comfortable outdoor chairs . The hotel is in a great location for the restaurants bars and shops The beautiful harbour is a short walk . A bus stops outside of the hotel and we went into paighton for the day .
