Very reasonably priced and high levels of Covid awareness. I'm no lager lout but do prefer a higher ABV lager, the Czech lager "Staropramen" at £4 a pint proved most convivial. The "Goldilocks" acoustic entertainment added to the atmosphere...not too loud, not too quiet 🤗 Oh..Dog friendly too! 🐩🐩 All in all, well worth a visit!

What a lovely gem of a place this is. Staff were amazing and very helpful. We did a surprise 40th party here because it has a live music license an we hired a sax player. Didnt rate food because we were allowed to bring our own buffet. Would highly recommend. Thank you Griffin bar you made the party very memorable.

What a lovely gem of a place this is. Staff were amazing and very helpful. We did a surprise 40th party here because it has a live music license an we hired a sax player. Didnt rate food because we were allowed to bring our own buffet. Would highly recommend. Thank you Griffin bar you made the party very memorable.

The staff here are the most friendly I have ever seen and take the time to speak to all the customers. They have a safe layout for social distancing and hand sanitizer available. They play great music and have live music too on a Saturday and Sunday afternoon which is at a good volume so you can talk without shouting. Drinks are not expensive either. Close to all the b and b's so you can...

Tucked away off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. My wife and I popped in for a pint and were glad we did. Lively atmosphere with a DJ playing 60s/70s Northern Soul. The lady behind the bar found the time to come over for a chat even though it was fairly busy, which was nice of her.
