TANG TANG — Restaurant in England

Now this restaurant need to amend their menu..in regards to their whole seabass...they say its whole and give a whole price of £16....thank god I asked about it because if they think I'm paying for(these are the owners exact words) if it's a big fish you only get 1 side of fish........if its a small fish you get the 2 sides ....what a disgrace for this type of service....reduce your prices for not getting the whole fish as I wanted it whole and display the truth on the menu instead of the lies uvput on the menu! We had fried fish with vegetables,vermicelli noodle and chicken fried rice.the fish and noodle was excellent but the rice was ok .I would of given a 5 had the rice not been doused in way too much soy sauce and u were honest with the menu side...

This resturant could be brilliant if the food tasted better! The decor is average, the service is OK but unfortunately the food is very bland. They apparently pride themselves on "freshly cooked food". We ordered Ribs, (the ones you get from tesco with their sauce on them). Mussels which were no-where near fresh and chewy. The Duck pancakes were nice. Dumplings are OK but definitely frozen, then we had the Sweet 'n' Sour chicken and fried rice. The chicken was bland and chewy and definitely not fresh, the sauce was tasteless and watery, and as for the rice, it was unfortunately not fried but more boiled and unseasoned with a bit of egg thrown in. Service was pretty good, food wasn't bad. Food was average as Chinese food goes. We had a banquet for 2. Starter was the chicken sweetcorn soup. Just the same as every one I have had before and would be mistaken if this is supplied en masse to every single Chinese take away in the world. The Mongolian Lamb was ok and I have to say the pan cakes were still hot when served. Egg rice not my favourite I've had and resembled more what I cook myself at home to what I am normally served. 2 chicken dishes, sweet and sour and black bean sauce both I will describe as average.
