i have been to quite a few premier inns and i’m so sad to say this but this wasn’t the greatest one i’ve been too, i just want to say well done to the man who was working at the reception when we got there and until his shift ended, i don’t know his name but he did have an accent, maybe french? im not sure, he was by himself working and helping as much and quickly as he can, he had a shouting customer at him and he still stayed calm and had to deal with complaints after complaints and he was running around for everyone to help by myself also with no manager in the building so well done on him.

I’ll now start in with are troubles so unfortunately when we walked in we smelt a weird smell like a wet dog, and soon quickly after that we realised the room was very hot and with someone who has a condition who breaks out with a bad rash everywhere in their body from really hot and cold weather it didn’t make me feel comfortable and obviously it wasn’t this man at the receptions fault at all and he didn’t know we spoke to him about it and unfortunately he couldn’t switch are room at the time because all off a sudden the computers went down, which again wasn’t his fault and he was trying his hardest and i saw he was so i said to him i’ll come back in an hour and see what goes on then. After that hour it still wasn't working so i said to him i don’t want to make it into such a hassle as i felt bad for the poor man by himself and i said is there anyway we can get another fan so we have 2 too cool it down in there and i should be fine by then and he kindly gave me his fan which i felt so bad for but he did it anyways to help me so thank you for that.

We also had 2 dirty glasses but it quickly got solved as there was some clean ones in the lobby i wasn’t going to go a fuss about with the man at the reception about them as he had clearly other issues to deal with by trying to get people in somehow.

This premier inn wasn’t the greatest, could do with slight changes, just wasn’t the best, but i must say the bed are definitely comfy, and the man at the reception was super nice and he helped everyone even though his food and hot drink got cold!! Shows he cares about helping his...

Really poor 'stay' at Premier inn portishead. Booked with 'trustworthy' premier inn for an employees work trip, The said employee arrived late at night to find an uncleaned room, visable hairs in bed, feaces in toilet, dust on tv remote and carpet edges, mould everywhere, hair in bath and sink etc. She asked for the room to be thoroughly cleaned, to be told (obviously) that no housekeeping was in and they could clean the toilet and change the bed only. As this wasnt sufficient to fix the overall clealiness, she asked to change rooms to be told no, she then asked if they could locate her to a nearby sister hotel, to be told she had to book it herself at her own cost, The receptionists printed out details of the local hotels and contact numbers but wouldnt call or help a lone female traveller at night any further. She advised she couldnt stay in the room as it hadnt been cleaned and they agreed to a refund but that we would have to request formally via email - fine. I had to arrange a cab and hotel myself at considerable cost at 9pm at night. I contacted premier inn guest relations (surprisingly difficult as seems no general customer service email or telephone number- Bad sign) who seemed genuinely confused and surprised we werent offered an alterate room. A week letter I received an abrupt email to say we would receive a goodwill gesture of £50 refund only (Our room was £85... the room unfit to stay in) because we had not booked a refundable room? (A room that was not fit for purpose and we had asked for any and all alternative options for them to uphold their end of the agreement to provide a fit for purpose room) Sadly no longer a...

Room very clean, quiet and comfortable. Arrived during very hot spell but found the room had been supplied with a large floor fan, which was very welcome. Cannot say the same for restaurant though. We had booked breakfast and was sorry we had, the tables were dirty, the food not very hot and the buns, bread for toast and croissants were left on the side uncovered and covered in flies, yuck. Our table was covered in crumbs from previous diners and I noticed tables cleared of breakfast and set up for lunch without even a quick wipe over. We had an evening meal and the same thing again, asked for our table to be wiped over and were given a piece of damp kitchen roll to do it ourselves, not good service I would say. As we left we noticed the restaurant was only rated a 4 for hygiene, I wholeheartedly agreed with that in fact would have rated lower. Would not be eating there again, would still recommend the Premier Inn at Portishead but certainly not the...

The worst premier inn I've ever been. I'm wondering from other reviews where that spotlessly clean rooms come from. The corridor leading to rooms literally stinks. In the room if you want to turn on TV, you need to clean the remote first from dust and sticky stuff. Carpet in the room probably haven't seen vacuum ever. Mold in the bathroom and bath itself was dirty. The cherry on top is the glasses left for water, probably some other civilisation is thriving in them. Front desk staff was nice while checking in,the only good thing.

I always choose this Premier Inn when working in Bristol. It’s in a fantastic location—close to the Marina and some lovely walking routes. The rooms are currently being refurbished to a high standard and now include USB-C plug sockets, which is a great addition. Every time I’ve stayed here, the staff and manager have been helpful and very accommodating. The pub next door has never disappointed—meals are consistently good, and the staff are always warm and welcoming.

We had stayed in a Travelodge the previous night and this place was lightyears better. The room is excellent and the location is well situated in the area. However, what makes it really great are the reception staff. The two women on reception were friendly, good with our boy and gave the impression that they couldn't do enough for us, should we need anything.
