Ghandi Restaurant — Restaurant in England

Poor. Phoned an order to collect. Quote off website: ‘ We are also offering free local delivery on orders over £15 and 20% discount on collection.’. (Reference their website 19/10/22). Does that not imply a collected order is 20% off, irrespective of value of order? When I got into the restaurant there’s a sign that says ‘10% off’. I went to collect my order, I got 0% off, with the irate manager trying to justify his false advertising…Got home and order missing two items. I don’t mind paying full price for a quality item; but don’t tell me I have a discount and then refuse to honour it - that really annoys me. Slightly irked as I’ve always supported this restaurant, but now have very little sympathy to it’s clear...

I went here with my family on a Saturday night. It was early 6.45pm and there were only few other guests. We were seated quickly and orders taken. When food arrived, service was not to good with staff not engaging, and plates almost thrown on table. It did not get better as main courses were delivered. On ordering a second round of drinks, it took several requests, and we had almost finished when they arrived. We asked for the bill which took another 20 mins to arrive. It is a pity as the food was very good but service was terrible and we will not be using this...

Poor service. Website states 20% off for collections. THIS IS NOT TRUE. When you get to the restaurant there’s a sign that says 10% off for collections THIS IS ALSO UNTRUE. When questioned with the manager he rambled on about why we wouldn’t get a discount. So we gave up and paid full price. When we got our collection home our order was missing the key part. Called the Restaurant to be told to ‘come and collect the missing items’ with NO APOLOGY!!!! there are plenty of Indian takeaways in Portishead I’d recommend...
