With a witty sense of humour he gave us the tour of the B&B, told us house rules and breakfast times etc... ||** It's paramount you put the draft excluder back lol. ||||The rooms were brilliantly decorated, with little hidden surprises. ||||Breakfast was absolutely amazing!! Delicious! He wont remember your order - so it's a good thing he has his trust pen and paper. ||Breakfast is served in the basement, with a unique plate and cutlery set

Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst and foremost this review is aimed at people who can appreciate what bats and broomsticks is all about, just take a look at the photos of this little gem, if they make you smile, or feel a little envious then read on, if you find the photos tacky or in poor taste them kindly move on elsewhere. I shall start with the boring stuff first, the accommodation is situated less than a mile from the town center, a pretty and pleasurable walk away, although a little steep on the return journey. The rooms are clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. Now for the fun stuff, this place is incredibly well thought out, the decor is at the perfect level of cheesy with the odd little surprise tucked away here and there. Our hosts were friendly, even by Yorkshire standards. As well as informative and helpful. The breakfast was exactly what was needed to set you up for a full day, served with a deadpan wit in a truly fabulous breakfast room. With a little notice you are permitted to bring takeaway back with you for an evening meal and your hosts will even plate it up for you to eat in the dining room. We will most definitely be returning to this mini transvaal for...
