I went to the Revelstoke carvery with my wife an a friend yesterday for the Sunday carvery. We queued up for the food, and upon choosing from the meat selection, I noticed that some of the meats while being carved look a bit fatty, so decided to go just for the beef, which would have been my favourite anyway. Plenty of beef was given to me so a generous portion. |I helped myself to a wide selection of veggies, then we sat down to eat.|It all looked rather nice, but unfortunately the beef which I was looking forward to was just inedible, very tough. I could only eat the vegetables, which to be fair were lovely, but the whole experience was ruined by the meat. Our friend had the same problem with the meat she had chosen, and we also had to warn some other friends we met there by chance not to go for the beef.||I pointed this out to the waitress who took my plate of uneaten beef away, she stated that it was probably due to the fact that it had been carved thick, but it was actually carved quite thinly. She asked if I would like some more meat as a replacement, but I was rather put off by that point. so we just left disappointed.||It was a real shame, as it seems they were using cheap cuts of meat to maximise profits, and this coupled with the somewhat cold conveyer belt approach of 'get people in, feed them, then get them out quickly' didn't help. No refund was offered, considering the expensive cost of the meal.|Needless to say we won't be back, the Toby carvery does...

Exceptional value for money. The Revelstoke handled everything for us – all the golf courses were booked in advance, and they even arranged our buggies, as one of there 3 day golf packages making the whole trip completely stress-free. Each course was well chosen and perfectly suited for our group, which made every round thoroughly enjoyable. The accommodation was excellent – clean, comfortable, and ideal for a group of our size. The quality of the food was superb, with generous portions and great variety to suit everyone. Breakfasts set us up well for the day, and the evening meals were top notch. The standout, however, was the staff. Every single person we dealt with was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, and it’s rare to find that level of service so consistently. In short, we can’t recommend the Revelstoke Hotel highly enough – whether you're planning a golf trip or just looking for a quality stay in Bridlington, this is the place to go. We’ll...
