Busy Bees 3 — Restaurant in England

Appears to be a nice place, well looked after, however, missing a level of customer service which should be present. I’m assuming that there is a level of customers who do not coming from the local area and would be unaware that there are two separate areas for takeaway and eating in, not very clear when entering and the staff failed to ask a basic question, would we like to eat in or take out, think it’s simple really and most customers are never offend by the question, will I never have been. So I walk down to the restaurant section and then my husband follows to then be told after paying that there is an additional charge for eating in! Ok, think it would be say around £2 but no wait it was nearly £5 extra on top of the £14 already paid! Husband stood his ground and said no to the extra payment collected our food and left, the extra charge was to clean tables, electric, dishwasher usage, water costs etc. We all know these are within a business and the costs are normally added on to the price of goods but to break it down well what can I say! Been coming in your shop for about 4, years at least 3/4 times a month always enjoy..BUT the last few times haven't been very good.this is the one on the promenade.my wife usually comes in because we only have takeaway then last but one time she paid for a breadcake but wasn't given it she didn't realise until she got to the seafront.we been in this week and she mentioned it and the woman said you help yourself oh well she didn't tell her that at the time never offered to reimburse.well well the next thing is this week wasn't very good the chips were hard as if been reheated not really edible..the rishi was ok but the batter was wet and soggy.so binned the batter. I've always loved to visit bridlington, every year from me being a child we used to stay for a week. having lost my mum recently I thought we would come and relive those memories. we went to busy bees on chapel street for fish and chips, they only gave half the order we showed them we wanted that we wrote on our phone and when we spoke to the assistant she stated we only purchased 2 plates and not 5, I stated she had neglected to read the full order and she told me I was being over dramatic. I then left an honest review on their page on Facebook and was met with a message in my messenger telling me to get a life, he then promptly blocked me so i couldn't respond....Needless to say, the beautiful bridlington I once knew is no more and I will not...
