We stayed at an BnB in this area in Bridlington. Found this restaurant on google maps. We ordered two nights in a row. I called to order and arranged for pick up. I ordered in Cantonese, the First Lady didn’t know what I was talking about. She asked another lady who speaks Cantonese to take our order. Recommended dishes: black bean sauce beef with peppers, beef chow mien, prawn chow mien, dumplings, egg fried rice and dumplings. These taste like proper Chinese food. Not recommended: kung pow chicken. It does not taste great, just sweat and sour. salt and pepper squid, it wasn’t great. I received a sms when the food was ready. The price was very good compared to London.

We came on the off chance as had not booked anywhere for a meal before the show at the Spa. And what a fantastic find, we were given a very warm welcome. The staff were friendly and polite the food was wonderful and fresh and hot, it was very well presented. The mixed starter was exquisite everything cooked well and tasted fantastic. The aromatic duck was moist and lovely hot pancakes, with fresh cucumber and spring onion. Sizzling beef in Cantonese sauce is to die for there was more than plenty. My only disappointment was that we didnt have enough time to savour each beautiful mouthful as we were rushing to the theatre. But we will be back with friends

Don't bother!!

Going as a group for a rare opportunity of a night out, we were assured this place could cater for Gluten free!

Having chosen what we could eat as initially advised they could adapt most meals. On ordering it became apparent they couldn't adapt most things. We ordered what we wanted ( we ordered the set meal for 2 at £20+ each) with assurance they would cater for us.

On delivering food to the table, I was sat there with nothing to eat!! The starters were NOT GlUTEN free.. so leaving me without.

Getting very hungry and only a bottle of wine to cater so far, the main meals soon followed.

They then advised they couldn't guarantee cross contamination!! They assured me that they would try there best and everything was washed between cooking.

I ended up with half a bowl of fried rice and beef in Cantonese sauce (not what I'd ordered). ..

Lacking in taste and substance and not having any option for anything else to eat! Not even prawn crackers offered as a complimentary item for a table of 6.

Leaving highly dissapointed and very hungry :(

THEY WOULD NOT CONSIDER ANY REDUCTION IN THE PRICE OR ANY COMPEMSATORY FOR OUR MEAL!!!

We continued our night as going to a concert.

Hour afterwards (considering I'd eaten nothing else that day) I experienced the most excruciating pain and horrendous bloating!!

DEFINITELY GLUTEN REACTION

NEVER TO RETURN AND DEFINITELY NOT SOMEWHERE ID SUGGEST TO ANYONE!!

DEFINITELY ONE TO AVOID.. Don't bother wasting your money!! I've not been that unwell in a long time!! They should not be advocating saying they can cater for gluten free when they simply cannot! And lack of understanding and assurance on cross...

1 star as cannot give Zero!! My sister-in-law wanted to treat my wife and to a nice meal so she chose Emperor Ming. The food was ordered just after 6pm on Saturday 14/8/21 on just eat and it took almost 2 hours to arrive but it defiantly was not worth the wait. I had Beef with mushrooms, really wrong choice. The strips of beef were revolting!!! I never knew thin strips of meat could contain so much fat and gristle and the texture was disgusting. I could t even chew the first bit but tries another and it was the same. I had to throw the entire meal in the bin as I wouldn’t have even given the food to my dog as she rates better quality food than that. And I had a crisp sandwich for my tea, an option I should have had to start with. My sister-in-law and my wife shared a crispy chicken dish. They both ate it at they were hungry. But while eating my wife said it didn’t taste nice as did my sister-In-law. Them both finishing the meal then less than 30 min later I’m going to buy them both Rennies as the meal didn’t agree with them either. This was supposed to be a nice treat from my sister-In-law which with Rice chips (which were cold and hard!) and other sides came to almost £40.00!! So not a cheap costing meal but a meal where the ingredients cost a fraction of the price! We will never be using Emperor Ming again as it was the worst Chinese meal that we have ever had. They can’t even cook...

After ordering at Emperor Ming for the second time, I can honestly say it will be our last. My dad ordered a delivery for three of us. We was all sat at the kitchen table, enjoying the meal until my mum noticed something sharp in her mouth. At first she thought it was her filling coming out, as it felt like metal and she nearly swallowed it. She managed to spit it out, only to find an unused staple. This was either insider her omelette or sweet and sour chicken. My dad contact Emperor Ming by phone to explain the situation. We had to throw most of it due to it putting us off the meal and in case anymore staples. After politely explaining, the lady who answered, who I assume is the owner, quickly blamed it on the driver and said it will have been the delivery driver who did it. This is impossible, as it would not enter sealed food that's wrapped up in the bag. This has entered via cooking. My dad asked for a refund, and she refused and said you cannot be compensated just because a staple was in the food. This could have been more serious if my mum had swallowed this, and then that would be a different story. The lady was not polite and very complacent with the matter, refusing to believe it was them. We will never be ordering from them again, and we are contacting environmental health to...
