If I could give no stars I would. Not sure how this place has such good reviews but came here to try the pancakes after seeing good reviews about them. Not sure if we just caught them on a bad day but either way our experience was shocking. Ordered 3x banana & Nutella pancakes and 1x blueberry pancakes. Waiting a while and they brought out 2x banana and Nutella pancakes. My husband and little boy waited patiently for theirs to come out. Around ten minutes later they brought out a stack of biscoff pancakes that we didnât order. No apology, just walked back off with them. After waiting again I just said my husband would have them. Still waiting for my little boys blueberry pancakes they said they had made banana, at this point the women who I presume is the owner started storming around slamming chairs about and was verbally angry with whatever situation was occurring which was just making the whole atmosphere very uncomfortable. I then said to the girl we will just take the banana ones to save waiting longer, but to just add blueberryâs and whatever else comes with the blueberry pancakes. She brought over the banana pancakes with maple syrup slung on them and a few blueberryâs (which isnât what comes with the blueberry pancakes) No apology, no customer care whatsoever. The place was absolute chaos, not the sort of relaxing atmosphere you expect from a food establishment. The pancakes were dry and we ended up leaving most of them. Mostly because they werenât what we ordered or wanted. The worst thing for us was the atmosphere. A full grown woman storming around vocally saying how much she hates the place and slamming chairs about it is not the sort of environment I want to be in with my children. ÂŁ50 down the drain on the worst brunch ever.
Update- owner replied then plastered me all over Facebook. Then deleted the reply so I can only see this part of it now. Pretty much sums up the kind of people they are...

Iâve had this place on my Google Maps âwant to goâ list for a long time and thanks to a logistical error on my part, my wife and I found ourselves in Brid for an extra day at the start of the year.
We went into town for breakfast and chose Ruby Soho due to its excellent reviews. We werenât disappointed. The gent who runs the place is a great host, doing it almost entirely single handed.
Thereâs clearly a good mix of customers from the regular morning breakfast crowd, to mums powerwalking past for a coffee and tourists, and all with good reason.
The food we ordered was totally delicious and a bit off the normal for a small cafe menu. The coffee was sublime.
Itâs a very cool place to go and worth the moments wander out of town if you fancy some quality.
Iâll consider myself lucky if I get another...
Read moreAbsolute gem of a place in Brid! We went because of the reviews (I need good coffee) and we were not disappointed. The menu is interesting and unique (and definitely not a greasy spoon place) but without being pretentious! Our food was so tasty and the coffee is incredible! But probably the loveliest thing was the owner, Bonesy! It was busy and he was doing all the graft (front and back of house) whilst still having a huge smile on his face and making time for chats and laughs with his customers. Itâs clear that this place is his passion and that means a lot! Would recommend to anyone with taste buds...
