Two Beaches Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Great Britain

We have stayed in this guest house 2 or 3 times a year since 2014. Excellent value, great location (up a slight incline, but nothing that most people cannot manage). Rooms clean and tidy, biscuits left in room each day, TV and coffee/tea etc, bottles of water each day, and a mini fridge in each room. Churston has magnificent sea views as does the single room Saltern. Goodrington and Broadsands rooms are on ground floor, large and airy. Breakfast has a good range of products with many choices. |The guest house is very welcoming.||What I would recommend as places to eat: Harbour Light in Paignton Harbour, Boat House in Preston, Paignton, Wetherspoons in Torbay Road Paignton, Honeymoon Chinese Buffet, Paignton, The Albert Inn in Totnes does not look much from the outside but is a micro brewery, food and drink both excellent. |Places to drink: Torbay Inn, Fisher Street Paignton, Wetherspoons (of course) in Paignton. |Buses are plentiful, number 12 Brixham to Newton Abbot via Paignton and Torquay, run until after midnight...

Our second visit to this delightful hotel located between Paignton and Goodrington Sands. It is on top of a hill so it’s a fairly steep walk up, but apart from that everything else is absolutely brilliant. ||The hosts Tina and Phil are exceptional and ensure all customers experience a top quality stay. The property is well maintained, rooms are very comfortable, the breakfasts are well cooked again using quality food. There is good on site car parking. Nothing is too much trouble for them.||It’s only ten minute walk to train and bus station so a great location to travel to Brixham, Dartmouth, Torquay and further to Teignmouth and Dawlish etc. the delightful beach resort of Goodrington Sands is also less than ten minutes walk. There are some nice restaurants close by at the scenic harbour setting, try TJ’s or Harbour Lights. We received a very warm welcome from Tina and was shown into the lounge area, where we were provided with a lovely tray of tea and biscuits. In the lounge area there is a small honesty bar and from the lounge there are doors leading to a small outside seating area. |Our room on the first floor was pleasant with a small dressing area and bathroom with shower etc. everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained.|The breakfast, which we preordered the evening before, was very very good. A good selection of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and fruit juices to start, with the main breakfast freshly cooked, egg cooked to perfection with good tasty bacon and lovely sausage. Plenty tea/ coffee and toast as well.
