Paighton itself is lovely and so is the pier haven’t got a bad thing to say about the place at all apart from this certain burger van which is an absolute disgrace I’m having to write a review on here about them as they don’t have a website to write one on, absolute disgrace of a place is this big burger van in the picture below opposite the spud shack and next to Hyde Dens, I ordered 3 bacon rolls and a portion of fries which cost an arm and a leg the lad who cooked it looked about 15 the bacon was already cooked and was cold I watched him recook it on the grill and put chips that were cooked and cold back in the frier to warm them up absolutely disgusting the bacon was black and couldn’t even chew it and the chips were like eating a rock nearly snapped my tooth chucked it all in the bin the place is an absolute joke and the prices are ridiculous for the quality of food, I’d honestly rather eat dog food than eat anything from that van again absolutely disgusting should be ashamed, avoid this place...

It's disappointing to see that children are more focused on earning tickets rather than simply enjoying the games for what they are.
It would greatly benefit the arcade to introduce more games purely for entertainment purposes, rather than emphasizing the ticket system that seems to dominate the experience. Read moreMy daughter was subject to an unprovoked attack of sexism by the manager no less! On trying to feed tickets into the temperamental ticket counter machines the manager commented that women can't use machinery. He said this to a 14 year old minding their own business. After the initial shock of this we sought an apology from him, to which he initially denied saying this to her (we were the only ones at the machines at the time) and then passed it off as a joke. We highlighted that we found this offensive and with no place on today's society. We eventually had a condescending apology. As a side, before seeking the apology we mentioned this to a female member of staff who seemed afraid to say anything tonthe manager. I feel massively let down by this experience.
