A pretty little place although only accessible at certain tides as the water can completely engulf the Cove on spring highs. If you don't mind the smell of crab from the adjacent crab factory it can be a good little stop for rock pool discoveries at low tide. BE WARNED! Beach can only be accessed by steps, either via a few small steps at the marina, or a much steeper and longer flight of steps from the car park.
Also, the beach isn't the best for sandcastles (quite gritty) or swimming (quite rocky, and lots of seaweed) but it is rather lovely to sit and relax.
