Walking into The Brook feels like stepping into a scene where the warmth of a local pub blends seamlessly with the vibrant energy of a beloved community hub. Operated by Tim and Tosh, whose congeniality is as refreshing as the drinks they serve, this pub stands out as a jewel in the neighborhood.

The atmosphere at The Brook is nothing short of brilliant. Decoration is outstanding - I love the violins! With a playlist that harmoniously combines classic hits with contemporary tunes, the music here enhances the ambiance without overwhelming conversation. It's this thoughtful balance that underscores the pub's commitment to a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

As for the fare, "amazing" barely does justice to the culinary delights that emerge from the kitchen (Thanks Josh!). The food is a heartfelt ode to pub classics, reimagined with a modern twist and served with a side of impeccable presentation. Whether you're in for a quick bite or a hearty meal, the flavors are sure to linger in your memory long after the last bite.

Beer and cider aficionados will find themselves spoilt for choice, with a perfect selection that caters to both traditional palates and adventurous tastes.

In summary, The Brook is a testament to Tim and Tosh's passion for quality and community spirit. It’s a place that doesn’t just serve you; it welcomes you into a family. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, you leave looking forward to...

An Absolute Gem – The Brook is Next-Level Pub Perfection. From the moment we walked through the doors of The Brook, we knew we were in for something special. This isn't just a pub—it's a masterclass in hospitality, atmosphere, and culinary excellence. The service was nothing short of impeccable. The team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, creating a relaxed yet buzzy, vibrant environment. Tim, the publican, runs the place with an eagle eye for detail and a passion that's evident in every corner—from the dog friendly gate, the quirky carefully curated items, to the thoughtful touches that make you feel like an old friend, whether you're a local or a first-time visitor. The food—is a total WOW. Tosh in the kitchen is nothing less than a culinary genius. We experience Thai one night and Indian and a great blackboard menu the next night. Every dish that came out was a bursting with flavor, and executed with the kind of precision and creativity you'd expect from a Michelin-starred chef. The atmosphere is spot on—cosy and full of character. Whether you're in for a casual pint or night off cooking , it’s the kind of place you’ll want to settle into and never leave. And the music is great…There’s a real sense of community here, but it’s matched with a polish and professionalism that puts it in a league of its own. The Brook isn't just a great pub—it’s an experience. If you haven’t been yet, you're seriously...

UDATE The garden has had a colourful make-over and looks fantastic. Hopefully we can now have some decent weather to enjoy it.

Home made Chicken Tikka Wrap - absolutely perfect when it is too hot to cook at home and just want something light. Chicken was unbelievable moist and seasoned to perfection. Served with a large bowl of cooling riata and served on a wrap - homemade by Tosh.

The Brook is a brilliant local pub (one of the original 4 pubs on the corner of the old Brentford Football Ground) with lively banter and where you will always receive a warm and friendly welcome regardless of if you are a local or not.

They always plays great music - Tim the owner has a massive vinyl collection and you will spend an evening listening to a very eclectic and vast range of music genres.

If craft beers is your thing, let Tim talk you through the constantly changing options available - he is like a sommelier for beer and he chooses his beers with real care to cater for different tastes. They also have a great wine selection.

Currently they have a guest chef on Wednesday and Thursday doing authentic Thai cuisine which has become a firm favourite with the locals.

Really worth...

We found The Brook after search for a craft bar within walking distance of the Novotel Brentford Hotel. As soon as we stepped in we were warmly greeted by Tim the owner and his lovely partner. They have a great selection of craft beer, ciders, wines, and gins. We sat in the beer garden which was lovely with comfy cushioned seating and large tables. We chose 2 dishes from the Thai menu and both were freshly made and delicious. We decided to sit inside later and there were lots of quirky objects to get you talking about. We returned on Sunday on route from Brentford train station. Tim played a variety of singles from his huge record collection on a record player and had a great knowledge of music. We will definitely return and highly recommend both the food and drink.

Terrific! The best part of our London stay. We felt right at home with Tim and Tash. Even the other patrons and pub dog were welcoming. We went three of four nights in London, and regretted not going on the fourth night. Food was delicious, filling, and well priced. Great recommendations for drinks. A pub with genuine joy, led by the gregarious Tim-- who gives you just the right amount of bartender sass. We will make a special trip next time we visit London from the US. Thanks for making our first UK tour special. All the love to this pub, cannot recommend enough.
