Very convenient location. About a 10 minute walk to Vauxhall tube which is on the Victoria line straight to Oxford Circus. This is also the location of the Vauxhall railway station.|Several eateries nearby and location is just off the main road, which means it isn't as noisy. |Reception staff were friendly : the lady (night shift) more so than the chap (day shift). Check in and out were straightforward||Room was clean and comfortable. Not the biggest but enough space not to feel claustraphobic. I liked that we could control the heating and the window could be opened to let in fresh air.||Bathroom was roomy enough, with a large walk in shower. Toiletries were provided (bottles with pump action fitted against the walls) : hand wash + hand/body lottion near the sink, body wash + shampoo/conditoner combined in the shower enclosure.||Slippers and kettle/tea/coffee/milks were provided as were a couple of complimentary biscuits.|There was a small desk area, a very small safe (only big enough for mobiles + keys, but unlikely fit a tablet and definitely not a laptop). ||We did not have breakfast (which is only continental) so cannot comment on this.||Car parking : We were told to park our car at the Holiday Inn express (literally opposite the Best Western) at a charge of £22 per day. ||Overall, a comfortable stay and would...
Read moreI stayed here and thought it was a close walk from the Tube but it was a little hike with my bags. Once I found the hotel it was really nice. I got the breakfast in the morning which was worth the add on for the first night but the to-go bag was NOT worth it. The rooms were comfy and very clean. Im from the USA so I had no idea you had to put the key in the slot by the door in order to have the light switches work ect. The woman who checked me in at night was very very nice and helpful and we had a nice laugh about the key/lights issue. Upon check out Rahul was very nice and got me a cab over to LGW which was about 90 GBP. If you need this just make sure you let them know if youre paying in CASH or CARD. Because if you pay with Card they will have to run an Authorization beforehand. I thought it was a nice stay and they also have a nice 24 hour market which is only a quick 5 minutes away if you need something they dont have downstairs. I felt really safe walking around late at night and they had some good stores during the day. Also if youre brave enough to jump around on the double decker busses they are also very walkable. Would def stay at again. Thanks to everyone who made...
Read moreWe stayed for one night at the weekend. The hotel is conveniently situated for both Vauxhall and Nine Elms rail /underground stations. As other reviews have noted, the entrance is tucked away and not as obvious as it could be. ||The third floor room was small, but clean and nicely decorated. Although the skylight could apparently be opened remotely, this information was only imparted upon our departure.||Breakfast at £10pp is a DO NOT TRY. Don't be fooled by the highly misleading posters in the foyer! The English (cooked) breakfasts use the cheapest ingredients. The very friendly staff member overseeing the "cooking" was using an air fryer. This had altered the eggs into something chemically distinct from what most people would recognise as egg. She did offer to make the bacon well done for me, a simple task in a powerful cooker! The coffee machine (£2 extra) was broken||Around the corner from the hotel, there is a cafe offering a greater range of breakfast fare for a similar price.||Overall price for room and one breakfast £190. Friendly and helpful staff doing their best for an international hotel chain, looking to squeeze every ounce of profit out of the overblown London...
