Repeatedly disappointing. Booked online via booking.com to include bed and breakfast. Spoke to hotel prior to booking room in order to confirm parking was available, told it was and to book the room and then call back and they could reserve a space for me. On calling back I was then informed of the £22 additional cost. Annoying but easy mistake to not mention. On arriving they then tried to charge a higher amount for the room and only returned to the original price when I wouldn't budge from the price quoted in the email of my original booking. They stated that there was an issue with the system with booking.com and it must have been confused. Room 1 was clean and nicely furnished but all night long it sounds like an air conditioning unit is running above the room where the skylight is. Whole room reverberating as the fan speed adjusts leading to a terrible nights sleep. Following morning was informed that the brown doggy bag for breakfast was £10. Once again had to repeatedly argue that my booking said breakfast included and produce the email booking to prove my case. Just a frustrating experience from beginning to end. Please see the attached picture of the £10 breakfast....

Clean tidy room and friendly staff but thats where it ends. After reading reviews about small windowless rooms I decided to book a junior suite. Whoever named it as such has a good imagination. Tiny room with no windows. One skylight with remote control which did not work until I got reception to change batteries. However this was a waste of time as the blind has four rows of holes in it so around 4 or 5 am you are awakened by light streaming through holes above your head. Shower head was almost disconnected from hose so water soaked bathroom when turning on. We fixed this ourselves. No bathrobes in room as advertised, found later you had to request these. Customer service training would be a good idea. We were asked if our stay was good, I said dissapointing. Did not want any further details, just laughed and said have a good day. Also corridors had piles of laundry there and still there next morning. Also safety chain on door was half missing. Would I stay again, absolutely NOT.

I lived in the hotel for exactly a week. What I liked most was the kindness of the staff and the delicious breakfast. I was going to leave a review on Booking.com, but I couldn't. Also, if you extend your reservation not through Booking.com, but directly at the front desk, you will get a good discount! The location was excellent for me (for work), but also suitable for leisure. Vauxhall Underground Station is 10 minutes' walk away and takes you directly to Oxford Circus (Oxford street!) in just a few stops. The room was small but cozy. The renovation is modern, neat and clean. The hotel is quiet and safe. Thanks for a great time, good luck to the hotel and to the very friendly staff!

Very convenient location. About a 10 minute walk to Vauxhall tube which is on the Victoria line straight to Oxford Circus. This is also the location of the Vauxhall railway station.|Several eateries nearby and location is just off the main road, which means it isn't as noisy. |Reception staff were friendly : the lady (night shift) more so than the chap (day shift). Check in and out were straightforward||Room was clean and comfortable. Not the biggest but enough space not to feel claustraphobic. I liked that we could control the heating and the window could be opened to let in fresh air.||Bathroom was roomy enough, with a large walk in shower. Toiletries were provided (bottles with pump action fitted against the walls) : hand wash + hand/body lottion near the sink, body wash + shampoo/conditoner combined in the shower enclosure.||Slippers and kettle/tea/coffee/milks were provided as were a couple of complimentary biscuits.|There was a small desk area, a very small safe (only big enough for mobiles + keys, but unlikely fit a tablet and definitely not a laptop). ||We did not have breakfast (which is only continental) so cannot comment on this.||Car parking : We were told to park our car at the Holiday Inn express (literally opposite the Best Western) at a charge of £22 per day. ||Overall, a comfortable stay and would...

I stayed here and thought it was a close walk from the Tube but it was a little hike with my bags. Once I found the hotel it was really nice. I got the breakfast in the morning which was worth the add on for the first night but the to-go bag was NOT worth it. The rooms were comfy and very clean. Im from the USA so I had no idea you had to put the key in the slot by the door in order to have the light switches work ect. The woman who checked me in at night was very very nice and helpful and we had a nice laugh about the key/lights issue. Upon check out Rahul was very nice and got me a cab over to LGW which was about 90 GBP. If you need this just make sure you let them know if youre paying in CASH or CARD. Because if you pay with Card they will have to run an Authorization beforehand. I thought it was a nice stay and they also have a nice 24 hour market which is only a quick 5 minutes away if you need something they dont have downstairs. I felt really safe walking around late at night and they had some good stores during the day. Also if youre brave enough to jump around on the double decker busses they are also very walkable. Would def stay at again. Thanks to everyone who made...

We stayed for one night at the weekend. The hotel is conveniently situated for both Vauxhall and Nine Elms rail /underground stations. As other reviews have noted, the entrance is tucked away and not as obvious as it could be. ||The third floor room was small, but clean and nicely decorated. Although the skylight could apparently be opened remotely, this information was only imparted upon our departure.||Breakfast at £10pp is a DO NOT TRY. Don't be fooled by the highly misleading posters in the foyer! The English (cooked) breakfasts use the cheapest ingredients. The very friendly staff member overseeing the "cooking" was using an air fryer. This had altered the eggs into something chemically distinct from what most people would recognise as egg. She did offer to make the bacon well done for me, a simple task in a powerful cooker! The coffee machine (£2 extra) was broken||Around the corner from the hotel, there is a cafe offering a greater range of breakfast fare for a similar price.||Overall price for room and one breakfast £190. Friendly and helpful staff doing their best for an international hotel chain, looking to squeeze every ounce of profit out of the overblown London...
