Well, what can I tell?????
So, I taste a lot of Italian restaurants in Italy over the last 3 years and what can I tell???
Everyone that lived in Italy and come to London know how different and difficult is to prove and found the same taste, the same Tomato, pasta, oil, sauces and simple things that’s makes all te difference on the Italian food!
In this place, I just felt that I was in Italy, during my 2h of dinner, I really fell it that I was in Italy!!!! That I was in a family restaurant in a small village outside of the big city, or in a restaurant close to an agriturismo or a restaurant that belonged to a family that rent a few rooms for one night!
The food, I can’t describe, I can’t tell what I felt, only people that taste a proper Italian food, in Italy can understand what I mean after come to this place!!
But what I can tell is that I really remembered Italy on every single food that I request… the bruschetta or the gnocchi, the salad and also the house wine, put me in a proper Italian table, and I appreciated every moment on this amazing place that will be part of me and my wife history now!!
Thank you so much for the amazing food Thank you so much for the amazing staff Thank you so much for the amazing restaurant Thank you so much for bringing me back to Italy
Highly recommend and challenge everyone to taste it!!

Had a fantastic dinner at Caminetto with my mother, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We started with calamari (one plate each) and shared a delicious Diavola pizza. My mother also had the spicy prawns, which were full of flavor.
For our first course, I had the Pappardelle with Funghi and Tartufo, while my mother enjoyed the Seafood Spaghetti – both dishes were made with fresh pasta and tasted incredible. I paired mine with a glass of wine, and she had sparkling water.
In the second round, I had the Lamb with mixed vegetables, which was hands down the best dish of the night—perfectly cooked and seasoned.
The restaurant is small but cozy, and if you go early, it’s quiet, making for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Plus, its location in central London is super convenient. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Italian food! Will...
Read moreI’m baffled why this place gets such good reviews. We went to Caminetto tonight (22/9/18) and it was probably the worst food I’d had in the past few years at least, if not longer. We should have known when, before ordering, the table next to us leaned in and said the food was horrible, tasteless and undercooked and that we would be best to run for the hills. However, because of the reviews and relatively full restaurant we pushed ahead, which was a bad decision. Everything we had (buratta, bruschetta, veal and pasta) ranged from flavourless to disgusting. Sadly a waste of a dinner out. Afterward we went down the road to the Canton Arms to commiserate and have dessert, which was...
