We booked a table last night at 7:00 with a friend. We arrived and they gave us a table that barvollava and it was not possible to eat using it. I asked to change it to the waitress (the girl with long hair) and with little elegance she "allowed us to change tables". It’s been another ten minutes and no one’s come to ask us what we wanted to order. I went to the same waitress again and she said that she would send someone, another ten minutes no one arrived (it was already 7.30), I went to ask another girl (helmet hair) and she came to get the order. We said what we wanted and the girl said that the kitchen would open after 20 minutes (it was already 7.40) and in the while she could bring the coxinhas. Coxinhas arrived, chatting the time passed when I see, however, that a table arrived after us already ate. I wait another five minutes (it was 8.20) and I go to ask for explanations but also the bill to be paid because we did not want to stay there anymore being not treated well. The girl communicates that a new order had to be made for the food and the order had not been taken. Quite ridiculous as a situation and without any professionalism. Obviously we decided to pay and leave. This happened yesterday, where in that hour and ten minutes I could see that many people were inside the club in overcoats because we were all cold and the heating was not on. I don’t recommend this place at all. Honestly I am very disappointed and bitter about all this and I asked to talk to the manager but I was told that there was...
Read moreI normally don’t write negative reviews because I generally give people benefit of the doubt, but our experience was ruined tonight by one rude server.
We have always wanted to try out this place because we love Brazilian food. Tonight, we stopped by to order some starters for takeaway and were very excited!
The server (with a hat) who took our order was perfectly nice and polite.
After waiting for 30 minutes for our food (which again, was just starters, no main entree) with no updates, I came up to another server (because the first one wasn’t there at the time) to ask if he could please check on our order because it’s been 30 minutes. He told me to “calm down” with a hand gesture for me to step back (he was behind the counter anyway so it’s not like I was in his face or anything like that). I was genuinely so confused because I asked him nicely. He claimed I was screaming. Huh?? I was standing by the speaker with loud music when I spoke to him, so I spoke at a normal “loud pub” volume to actually be heard. If I was actually screaming, I would have owned up to it.
The first server saw the whole interaction and offered us some extra food as an apology, which was a kind gesture, but we didn’t take it.
We were hopeful to potentially become regulars here, but the second server had ruined the entire experience. Do NOT recommend unless you enjoy being...
Read moreCame here today and brought 2 friends.
Some points. The person (Brazilian woman in a ponytail) veeeery rude and really don’t care about the clients at all: We were not properly seated and were left unattended for a long time.
Secondly a very nice English lady came and I said what happened. She apologised and took our order. The Brazilian native staff who are famous for being nice and welcoming were rude. (I’m Brazilian myself).
Our food took ages to come to the table. The food arrived cold and the Beef picanha I ordered was like rubber and steal. Cold and hard. Impossible to cut through.
My friends dishes were mokeka which came also cold and the portions really tinny.
The temperature inside is a joke. Maybe outside is warmer. They kind of don’t care about heating the place at all. Many clients using coats.
I’m totally disappointed by this place. If you want to call yourself Brazilian you have to be warm, nice, cordial and offer good food. You are a joke. Except for the 2 lovely English waiters. I felt sorry for them because they were working and apologising all the time for the bad management of the kitchen and the rest of the restaurant. Really annoying place. Never...
