Roman Rooms — Hotel in Milton Keynes

We have stayed in this accommodation a couple of times, maybe 7 and 5 years ago and we thought we would stay again as near to the location of a family celebration. I don't think any care has been invested in the place since we last we stayed.||||The TV did not work, the place was gross and I needed to clean everything I touched. The bed sheets were clean or we would not have stayed. The bathroom looked clean but the shower did not work! I had to call the owner covered in soap as the dribble water of stopped running, (I know not everyone has a power shower) I was told that everyone maybe wanted a shower as a lot of guests had events that evening??? At 4:30 pm? And the owner was not able to contact her maintenance provider either?||||One family relative, also staying had shower trouble also, and another described it as a S**t hole, having the same unclean room as I, only cold water in her shower, if any, two pairs of workmens boots left in the bedside cabinets and dirty coffee cups left in her room.||||I was mortified that I had booked family into stay there.||||It is a shame because it was a gem, now it is tired, the communal lounge has burst sofa's and tattered chairs, and we have resolved never to stay there again.||||NB we know it's not first class, we know it's not manned, we paid comparable to other venues we could have chosen, that is no excuse for it to be unclean, nor to...

Enter this hotel at your own risk you have been warned!! I wouldn't put a homeless person in this place. The whole place is filthy!! Serious damp green mold by the bed. Dust everywhere cotton buds down by the side of bed. No rail in the wardrobe but ironically plenty of coat hangers in the bottom with an inch thick of dust. A fag end on top of the wardrobe and rubbish in a drawer. The coffee cups looked like they hadnt been washed & the toothbrush cup had never been cleaned. Broken tiles on floor of bathroom. The curtain was hanging off & the carpet was stained & dirty.||There was suppose to be a continental breakfast so we went to have a look before morning. The kitchen door was propped open with mop bucket. Croissants were out of date, crumpets 2 weeks out of date & a loaf of bread that look alien looking it was that green with mold!! There was no mattress topper & the mattress was very thin. ||Its situation is great for a drunk gambler as the pubs next door with beer garden to the back & bookies underneath. There is only 3 parking spaces & access is very tight. There is nobody to greet you & only contact is by phone. We were suppose to stay 4 nights we left first thing in the morning due to we have to wait for our company to find us new diggs. We didnt sleep...
