I absolutely love this pub. Been drinking in here for years. Always cater to any special occasion. I’ve had my birthday parties in the western for years. Always so friendly, staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I also have had my daughters 18th party and my partners 40th in the garden last year. Absolutely amazing. The vibe was spot on. Buffet was lush. Music and drinks were perfect. The roast dinners are to die for especially Claire’s home made cauliflower cheese 😍😍😍 and robins Yorkshire Puds. Last time I came I gave a positive review about the staff but felt like it really wasn't the pub for me. I still felt like this isn't the pub for me and sadly, even the staff couldn't save it this time. I walked in and was glared at by everyone already at the bar and nearby tables. Normally regulars for our breakfast can imagine our shock when we realised the management had changed and the price of a western breakfast had increased which is fine if I was receiving the quality we normally receive but was not at all so what are we paying for ??
