Blythewood Guest House, B&B close to NEC Birmingham. — Hotel in North Warwickshire

First time I’ve stayed at Blythewood - would I stay here again? Absolutely. ||This is the 4th time I’ve stayed in Coleshill for work - and I’ve finally found somewhere I’d stay again. I was starting to think there was nowhere decent to stay in Coleshill but there is - Blythewood. ||Hosts were superb and really welcoming. Breakfast room is great along with space in the fridge (it’s small things like this that make the difference).||After 2 stupid busy days at work I didn’t fancy eating out so I got takeaway and had it in the breakfast room. Much better than going out for food. ||I slept great - no noise at all during the night. ||Are there little niggles here and there? Yes! Would I mention them? I came across Blythewood Guest House while searching for a hotel as I was attending an event at the NEC. Recent reviews were good and one in particular stood out from single female traveller who said she felt safe here and thats how I felt. I was greeted by Jane on arrival and although I didn’t see her again before I left, I knew nothing would be too much trouble if I needed anything. My room was very comfortable (bed & duvet were lovely) and had everything I needed. The breakfast room is good, there was fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese bread, butter and eggs and a few tinned items, open 24 hours.
