Very friendly staff, warm welcoming for your stay. Always someone present ar the desk and ready to help. Room and hotel was very nice, clean and tidy inside and out. Plenty of parking on site and food available in the area. Definitely recommend

Basic accommodation at a reasonable price. A bit of a lack of plug sockets, but friendly staff. The food choice at the restaurant next door wasn't great for a non-meat eater.

Premier Inn was ok, not the best I've stayed in but fine enough, the pub next-door Rubarb triangle was poor. Would not pick this place again.

We stayed on a Tuesday night on a short break to Yorkshire. This hotel offers the same high standard experience you'd expect from any Premier Inn. We were checked in by a very friendly and professional staff member, the staff do make you feel very welcome, and check in was efficient as always. Free parking available on site. Clean, cosy, quiet and comfortable rooms with many lights to control, easy to find the right level of lighting to fall asleep to! Unusually for Premier Inn, you don't have to insert your room key into a slot on the wall to operate the electricity in your room, which means you can keep it by the bed. The fire alarm had strobe lights in pretty much every last room in the hotel building, which is good for deaf people and I think should be standard in hotels across the UK. Smokers will be pleased to know there is a clearly signposted smoking area outside the hotel for guests. The location of the hotel is very central, with a Brewers Fayre pub, a McDonald's and a supermarket all within walking distance, they also provide games and activities to keep kids busy during their stay and there is a small charity stall in the lobby selling things to raise money for GOSH (the charity Premier Inn is currently raising for). The negatives were only really gripes and didn't spoil the Premier Inn experience for us. There was no air conditioning in the room which meant it got stuffy at times, but with a window that opens and a fan provided in the room, this is not that much of an issue. I had a bath in the evening, the water was lovely and warm but did not stay warm for much longer than half an hour. On a few occasions, we encountered spiders in the room, though this might have been to do with the time of year and location of hotel, they didn't seem to come in at night. While breakfast is served at the Brewers Fayre across the car park, it is still the same tasty and filling Premier Inn breakfast you know and love, that well and truly fires you up for the day! The biggest problem was the TVs, it was slow to respond to commands from the remote, and seemed to randomly come on at one point while we were at breakfast and switch itself to the DMax channel. We only used the telly a little bit in the evening, but found that rather strange. Definitely worth considering if you wish to stay in the...

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the Premier Inn in Wakefield for the last 15 months while working in the area, and I can honestly say it has been an exceptional experience. What truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding customer service, and in particular, Jane.

From the very first day I checked in, Jane has consistently gone above and beyond to make my stays as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Whether it's greeting me with a warm smile, offering thoughtful suggestions for local dining or activities, or simply ensuring I have everything I need, she has made me feel like a valued guest throughout my long-term stay. Her attention to detail and genuine care for the guests is evident in everything she does.

The hotel itself is always clean, well-maintained, and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. But it’s the friendly, personal service from Jane that has made this place feel like a home away from home.

I can't recommend this Premier Inn highly enough, especially if you have the pleasure of being greeted by Jane. Her exceptional customer care truly makes all the difference. Thank you, Jane, for making each stay...

Stayed for 2 nights book first night a days before deciding to book extra night as we were going to our daughter's wedding because we did it that way the hotel had a booking for the night for the room we were staying in The night receptionist Jane could not have been more helpful and dud her best to ensure we could stay in that room The staff are very friendly nothing was too much trouble A very warm welcome a lovely comfortable spotless room and if we required extra pillow coffee tea etc it was given immediately Breakfast staff were friendly welcoming attentive and we didn't have to wait long for service my only issue was it was a very hot and humid two nights and with no A/C only a table top fan the room was uncomfortable The bed mattress and bedding were very comfortable plenty of hot water towels etc I would recommend and certainly be back possible in...
