We don't eat out often but when we do, we mainly come to Kashmiri Aroma and bring visiting friends and relatives. HOWEVER since our last visit (early March 2023), we probably wont. Starters fine but a part of order was missed. I said it didn't matter, as it was only poppodums missing. Main was okay but a little under heated but not somethingworth mentioning to anyone. Then we were totally ignored for ages. No one asked if we wanted drinks, no one asked if we wanted dessert. None of the waiting staff looked at us. I 'excuse me'd' the waiters on 3 separate occasions and they blanked me. We decided we might as well ask for the bill and I had to get up and stop someone who assured us they would bring it over. After a further 20mins, we managed to get another waiter's attention. He said 'if you're in such a hurry you can pay at the bar' - no apology (sincere or otherwise). We originally hadn't been in a hurry but sitting in a restaurant with no-one asking if you want drinks or anything else, made us feel unwanted, unwelcome and ready to leave. The waiting staff weren't particularly busy, they were spending time chatting, which was why they had seen us trying to get their attention. It feels like if you're not one of the regular regulars whose face is recognized as you walk in, you're not so welcome here anymore. I guess fairplay to Kashmiri Aroma for being popular enough to only have to be polite to core customers but I feel sad to have not been made welcome in a restaurant that has been part of our family memories since it opened, we may only visit 2 or 3 times a year unlike those who may eat here more regularly, but that shouldn't make us less worthy of politeness and good, attentive service. What was supposed to be a special evening was a little soured by the experience. I wouldn't raise this episode as an issue if the restaurant had been as busy as it has been on other visits, as a dip in service would be understandable in those...

Ordered from here probably around 1 month ago through Uber Eats as they had a 50% voucher on offer. Tried this place and I honestly cannot stress enough how awful it was. Chips were raw, there were so hard and cold we couldn't eat them. £3/£4 for 2 tiny samosa that were cold in the middle, you'd be better off buying some samosa from your local shop and warming them up yourself. Curry was bland and tasteless, I think we ordered a tikka massala, the chicken had an awful texture, barely any sauce, dreadful. £9 I think it was, better off going to Maccies or Greggs. Or sticking £9 down the toilet. Pakoras were tiny and cold. Even the poppadoms were stale. Everything was awful. Even the cat turned its nose up at the Pakoras. We usually get a curry to share and get loads of appetisers to try and between the 2 of us it usually hits the spot but not from here, I was half tempted to order another curry from somewhere else and pay full whack.
Thankfully we didn't pay full price but it should have been around £40 after delivery. I would have personally walked back to this place and kicked up a fuss if I had of paid full beans. I don't usually leave reviews that are negative but I genuinely can't explain how disappointed I was with this and its only fair to make others aware. Without doubt the worst curry we have ever had. And there's no excuse as we ordered through Uber for a different curry house and it was absolutely...

Ordered meals at 17.23 for delivery. Advised delivery was between 19.00 and 1915. Got to 19.45 and rang restaurant asking where our meals were, fobbed off and told they were with the driver. 20.10 currys eventually turn up. Advised driver that these curry were over an hour late and his response was that he had delivered them as soon as he had been given them. What makes matters worse is that the meals were cold when thay arrived, so had obviously been standing for a long time. One starter, two mains, papadums, Nan, Chapati's and egg pilaw rice which ammonted to £44.50 including £3.00 deliver + tax. The meals were exceptionally bland, rice was the worst we have ever had, there was absolutly nothing good at all with the meal except the papadums. We used to vist Kashmiri Aroma on a regular basis and this is the first time we have used the take away service. All I can say is that it was exceptionally dissapointing and expensive. We will never return or use Kashmiri Aroma again and would advise other to do like wise. It was so professional on the web site to order your meals, pay and pick a delivery slot, but unfortunatly in practice they do not deliver what they say. If I could leave 0 stars I would, but I have to leave aminimun of 1 star, which to me is still well overtated. Avoid and save yourself the displeasure of meals arriving late being cold and flavourless. Really was exceptionally...
