Clean basic room, nicely decorated but…………outside is falling to bits, peeling paintwork and tatty window boxes. No one around to answer the bell so had to ring duty manager who gave us the code for the key box, really hard to do one handed. Room was stifling even with window open and couldn’t use the tower fan as full of dust and dirt: husband is an asthmatic so this is a real no no. Traffic noise is horrendous and no blind or voiles/nets for your privacy when curtains open. Bottled water was in a flip top stopper and not sealed so presumed tap water and not fresh. Coffee and tea sachets in plenty supply but only 4 milk pods each day. Extra available at reception but only 4 pods for all guests. 2 packets of guest biscuits was nice. No breakfast or bar during our stay so had to go find somewhere open on the Friday morning around 8am as had a meeting at 9am…….just a list of places around would help. Information data near front door was for 2024……who is looking after the guests here! Great location but really needs some money spent on the exterior and the guests, not just redecorating the rooms. Please spend 2 days in the rooms yourselves and get the experience. Came home exhausted as hardly slept for the 2 nights we were there and no one in sight who interacted with us or...

This would be 0 stars if i could give zero. I have travelled many times and stayed in numerous hotels and never had such a terrible experience. When we checked in the hotel smelled damp and the fridge in the first room was very dirty. By the time we got to the second room there was mould in the bathroom around the shower, a wet towel from prior occupants hung on the back of the door and the sink wasn't draining correctly. The staff member told us it was fine and he would tell the owner the same. Must not have wanted to get in trouble for not doing his job.

It's the first time I ever had to check out of a hotel with 2 hours of checking in, only reason it took two hours was the unhelpful manner of the staff namely Alex.

Prior to leaving I agreed to pay for the 1st night for both rooms even though we were not staying. Call it a goodwill gesture. I was supposed to be reimbursed for 2 nights as agreed on the day but now I am being told the refund won't be coming.

A family member who lived locally reccomended this hotel and certainly won't reccomend it going forward.

If you want a hotel with no hassle and stress free this is not the place to go. Might I note another couple were complaining the same day as us and were being moved rooms so it certainly was not us just...

We chosen the CL purely based on location as we were attending a wedding, arrived 1:30 (check in time was 2 pm) doors lock, rang the bell , waited 10 minutes, the pleasant cleaner saw us and opened saying my colleague will be with you shortly, waited another 15 minutes for the attendant to show up, was pleasant and allowed us to access the room which was appreciated . Room was big and tidy with sofa bed that was so thin you could feel the springs when sleeping, main bed was ok ,carpet was dirty with stains everywhere ,windows were double glazed with broken lock so road noise was constant. Ceiling light was out but we didn’t care. Check out time is 10:30 and no regrets we didn’t book with breakfast. Attendant was very clear if no staff available just drop the key and leave which was the case. Water pressure was strong and enough but no hot or even warm water No safe in the room , no hair dryer also no room service or reception to call , we returned 10:30 pm and the shutters were down on the service / reception area. I’d recommend only if good price and you must stay in the area, wouldn’t stay here again , I believe it should be named Inn...

Room was a good size and it's in a convenient location, but smoke detector in bathroom bleeped every half an hour waking us up. The window was damaged so the double glazing wouldn't shut, making it noisy as it's on a main road. As the photos of our 'executive room' show, the room was not to standard. Check in was poor, then the shutters on reception were down in the evening and in the morning and we couldn't find any staff. I've emailed them twice since we stayed a month ago and they haven't had the courtesy to even reply. Poor.

We did a two night stay, and enjoyed everything about the hotel. Only a few minutes very pleasant walk to the town centre. Close to Warwick Castle and St Nicholas Park. The room was very large, clean and contemporary. The bathroom was an excellent size. Breakfast was very very good served by lovely friendly staff. And the reception staff could not be more helpful if the tried. If you are visiting Warwick I would recommend Castle Limes as a lovely restful place to stay.
