Leaving us mid conversation. The veg medley was over cooked and watery and soft We were all very hungry and could not be bothered to wait again.we didn't bother with deserts. Tom was over formaliar when speaking to us calling my friend "Darling" and my wife" Love"something I would expect from a barman in Birmingham not expected from a establishment in Warwick on a plus side i wasn't charged for a pint of Guinness although we did pay a £14 service charge. Read moreI visited the Roebuck to meet some friends and colleagues.
It's small frontage belies its large, pleasant and welcoming interior.
The (coronavirus) one way system was observed by everyone as was the table service only operation.
Really nice ambience with several little areas that used to be little rooms hundreds of years ago not long after Warwick Castle was built. I relished the thought that soldiers and servants from the castle probably ate and drank here as did Cromwell's roundheads.
Clean throughout. The staff were really lovely, helpful and attentive. The waiting was minimal and so made for a very pleasant evening.
Good choice of beers (warm and cold) and other beverages including tea and coffee. We didn't eat so cannot comment on that. You can get cheaper prices elsewhere but maybe not the ambience or history of The Roebuck.
Well...

Staff were fantastic, very polite and completely on the ball. Food was ordered and delivered quickly, and additional drinks were also ordered throughout our meal - waiting staff were on point! We'd definitely come back, and this would now be my immediate first choice of bar/restaurant in...
