My boyfriend and I were looking for a mattress, just browsing trying to find what we like and a good price range. We first went to a store just down the road from mattress firm and the salesman talked to us about beds and then slowly drifted into a conversation about bikes... We got his card and told him we'd be looking around and we'd be back. After, we went to mattress firm and immediately felt like everybody there including the two of us were a big family. Melissa was extremely sweet and funny. She helped us find the PERFECT mattress for us, which wasn't easy, my boyfriend likes firm and I like soft so we definitely went back and forth between beds. She listened to every want and need and even tried every way possible to help us get the bed we wanted. She made sure and explained every detail, big or small, and told us what to expect so nothing was a surprise. The trip went soooo smoothly that we ended up buying the bed that day and getting it delivered the next day instead of looking at our options, like I said we were just supposed to be browsing and getting an idea. While we were there, a few other people came in because they were having problems with their beds which made me a little nervous, hearing their problems while we were deciding on getting one. But she was so sweet and understanding and made sure every customer that came in was taken care of and had no problems. Even the two delivery guys, Ryan and Sammy, were amazing. They delivered the next day as promised, within the time frame given. My apartment complex is a little confusing so I waited for them outside. A few minutes later I got a phone call from Ryan explaining that they were already at my apartment and that when he knocked the door opened on its own. I told him I was on my way up and they could start setting up of they wanted. He politely declined and said he would start bringing everything upstairs but would wait for me to enter the apartment. I liked the fact that he was honest about the door being open when he got there and was very polite. I love on the 3rd floor of my apartments and it was at least 100 degrees that day but neither one of them complained about the heat or how tired they were after carrying a mattress and box spring up 3 flights of stairs. I offered them something to drink for their trip and they politely accepted and when on their way! The entire experience was amazing and ran smoothly. I would most definitely recommend mattress firm rather than anywhere else...
Read moreReceived great service from Melissa and the Abilene Store but it was downhill from there!! *Bed was not picked up from metroplex store because they "couldn't find it". Upon further investigation this was a lie.....store had bed but did not have bag to put it in so warehouse would not pick up the bed and delivery of purchased bed had to be delayed a week. Delivery was changed by Dallas warehouse without notifying Abilene store. *Contacted Abilene store and they agreed to a "loaner bed" to be delivered on the original requested date. *Dallas warehouse was INCORRECTLY showing a balance and refused to deliver bed on date requested until balance was cleared up. *Abilene store and Abilene district manager tried very hard to get this resolved and even offered to fax a copy of receipt to warehouse to prove payment in full. They would not accept. *I attempted to contact Dallas warehouse and asked to speak to a supervisor but was refused. *After a VERY long time on the phone with your company's help desk, Abilene store was able to verify that balance was, in fact, an internal error. Warehouse still refused to set up a delivery time. Abilene store had to set up a fake refund and back out the balance before warehouse would agree to set up delivery. *Delivery FINALLY accomplished late last evening WITHOUT the bar for the adjustable base. Warehouse stated customer didn't pay for it so they would not put it on the bed. That issue was resolved this morning at the Abilene store and bar is set to be delivered Saturday afternoon. This has been a VERY UNPLEASANT experience and I won't be recommending your company to anyone else. Further, if bar is not delivered and promptly installed on Saturday as promised, we will be considering legal action. This purchase was recommended to my mother by me. She is an 81 year old lady recovering from a broken hip. Since I had purchased a bed at your Abilene store last year and was VERY happy with the service I received, I assured my mother would receive the same excellent service. I was wrong. Read moreI stopped in here for a twin mattress for my daughter. Let me start by saying the price point was impressive. I did go in at the right time, as they were having the back to school sale. Regardless, I got a $250.00 mattress for $78.00 plus tax. This twin mattress was an innerspring mattress, not just a plain jane mattress. Home Zone and Big Lots started at $99.00 for their twin mattresses, but for an innerspring mattress, it goes up to around $200.00 a piece.
Now let's talk about the service. When I walked in, I was greeted by a gentleman named Kevin. He said I looked familiar, and I didn't put the connection together until I left. He was absolutely amazing through the process. He looked up the mattress to see if they had it in stock, which they did. I told him I wanted to buy it but I had to go get some cash, as I had misplaced my wallet earlier that morning. I came back within the hour to buy the mattress to find that Kevin had already pulled it to the front door for me. It was a very pleasant experience. My only regret is that I haven't given them my business in the past. I will definitely shop here for our future...
