Pizza by Design — Restaurant in Abilene

One of my new favorite places to eat. All food is prepared fresh and delivered directly to your table upon being cooked. Think of this as a pizza meets Subway. You enter and choose the type of crust, crust and then go down the line telling the the staff exactly what you would like your very own personal 10" pizza. I highly recommend the Pesto and the fresh mozzarella as well as the very sweet, sun dried tomatoes. Whatever your choice in toppings, rest assured that the staff will prepare you pizza as you request allowing you to enjoy a custom designed pizza to your liking that rivals any other fresh prepared pizza.

This is a terrific place for a fast lunch as well as a casual dinner later in the evening. There is even outside dining for those that choose to enjoy the outside elements.

02AUG2017 - Another lunch here with friends. This time I took pictures that I am adding. My pizza is the last one shown (the other two belong to my friends). Mine is Original crust, pesto sauce, spinach leaves, fresh mozerrella and chopped garlc. Next, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, regualr bacon, fire roasted red peppers, mushrooms, black olives, green olives and pineapple. Hope that the pictures will help others see what a great place this is and for the simple price of $7.99 for a 10" pizza that you create there is no better...

Duplicate, cheap version of MOD pizza...

Design your pizza is just the tag line to attract customers but the staff will tell you how to set the toppings...The staff is trained so well to fake things that.. if you ask for chkn then they will pick up few strands of chkn and then break it into approx 15 small chunks to spread all over..even if you ask for mozrella then they will spread their hand in such a manner that it will pick up handfull of it... but in reality they will pick up few with their fingers and spread it.. to avoid u asking them to add extra they will play deaf... or their cashier will stop u saying their pizza machine will get burnt...that's Pathetic to hear when you are designing your own pizza and being stopped...

Also, their small pizza machine where u put raw pizza at one end it take 3mins to cook and comes out on the other end..

Pizza bake time 3 min but no one available at the cash counter to serve so the pizza is left to turn cold unless one of their staff realizes OH!!! this thing needs to be served ...(check images)

Also, undercooked pizza...

Bit down on a piece of rock (or some similar material in the pizza and damaged a tooth. When I contacted the restaurant they told me to go to their 'facebook' page. There was no concern for me other customers who may encounter similar in their product. Since I do not use facebook I was unable to leave any comment. The individual on the phone that I spoke to was rude and condescending. I will do a charge back and eventually present this establishment with the dental repair bill. Hope we can work something out without legal means, necessary.

Nice try (below reply). We ordered to go (like in we went home to eat the pizza). And believe me there is nothing false regarding my review. I understand your anxiety and reply, however this really happened. And when I first contacted your restaurant, my intention was merely to let you know so you could pull the product off the line so no one else would suffer. There was absolutely no concern for me or your other customers when I phoned. That is when I felt it necessary to publish these events so others could...
