Arrow Ford Low voltage light was lit on dash. Gage agreed. Stopped at parts store where battery was purchased. Battery OK; alternator bad. Arrow told me they couldn't get to it for a week, so I waited. They concurred that the alternator was shot, but not in stocks. Four days later, it arrived. They said the belt was frayed, OK replace it. They said the battery was weak & wouldn't charge. OK, replace it. Picked up the car 3 days later. On my way home, I noticed the low voltage annunciation was lit again, so I called the service dept. & was advised everything was OK & to allow time for the new alternator to fully charge the battery. After a stop at the grocery store, the engine wouldn't turn over. Everything electric was dead. A man parked next to me offered 'jump' & it started. It was after Arrow's closing time, so I had to wait until Monday to call. They told me a tow truck would be sent "within the hour." Four hours later, the driver called to advise he was on the way. Hearing nothing for three days, I called for a status report. Not ready yet. So, after almost a month of being without a car, it was finally ready. When I got it, I had to sign warranty papers. Near the top, I saw "Customer was warned that the PCM might need to be replaced...." No, I was told all checks were OK. The service guy was just trying to cover his tracks. DO NOT TRUST...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went into Old Navy while I was waiting for Kirkland's to open. I wasn't really expecting to find anything that would fit me as I have always thought their clientele was younger and thinner than I am. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are not carrying plus sized clothing and they had some really cute things. I bought a pair of fleece pants. I may go back and check out some of the dresses and tops. Thanks, Old Navy! I also went into Bed, Bath and Beyond to look for something I needed. It looks like they are suffering from the transportation backups. The shelves were not empty, but the usual variety of goods was not there. Specifically, there did not seem to be the selection of linens and bath items I'm used to seeing there. The kitchen area, though, had lots of pots, pans, gadgets and accoutrements. There wasn't much holiday decor there yet either. I'm sure...
