This is an extended stay hotel and I wouldn't stay here again for free! of I could. The rooms are poorly cleaned. They don't change the bedding when they clean and cleaning is only done once a week which is fine if they change the sheets . It's snowing right now and there's an inch or so of slick sidewalks and parking lot and it's 8:30 AM guest are up and about and the sidewalk and parking needs to be shoveled, yet the staff still sleeps. The office doesn't open until 10AM, which is ridiculous. The fridge went out us dot and our milk, lunch meat and expensive coffee creamer spoiled over night idk when it'll be fixed or replaced and it's to bad so sad for us on the spoiled food which I think we should be compensated for. The only ammebities here is the delightful espresso/coffee machine located in the office is really good and it's available all day. I make several trips there through out the day. It's compares to the coffee stands. You can get 3shots espresso 3 shots of vanilla a shot of milk and a latte or cappuccino option all in this 8oz cup. Love the coffee but not worth the stay.
This is an update to my first review. Since then I’ve stayed at other hotels and I must recant what I said about the cost lol this place actually was a super good deal on the price when compared to ANY hotel including inescapable that don’t offer extended stay. The towels here are not typical thin short towels and they will accommodate more if you ask. There’s a laundry room that can be paid for using the app that’s posted on the machines and will notify you when a machine is available to notifying you when your laundry has finished. There’s soda machines that cost only .50 for a soda and they have coke and Pepsi products. I loved loved the espresso machine inside the lobby and for guests it’s unlimited that you can have and they close the lobby at 11pm. My room had a bathroom which has a tub/shower a small kitchen and full size refrigerator and a full size range, and they provide all the necessary dishes to cook say spaghetti diner for a family of 4 and came with dish towels, wash cloths, and some dawn dish soap. A living room with a full size sofa, a small dining table with 4 chairs that sat between kitchen area and living room. 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and 4 fluffy pillows on each. One room was slightly larger and had a chest of drawers with mirror and two night stands with lamps and a small closet and a vacuum cleaner. Yes I would absolutely recommend this hotel over most hotels in Spokane or the...
Read moreTerrible service and experience. Had major problems during my stay and the staff seemed happy to ignore it. It first started with their wifi which did not work for me in my room for the entire stay. I told the staff after my first night and they said they had gotten reports of problems with it but it wasn't going to be looked at over the weekend. I told them that I needed it for the remote work that I needed to do but they were uninterested. So I had to rely on my phone's hotspot to get me through the trip. If I didn't have that I would have gotten a refund and left right there. The next big incident was that I had a crazy neighbor in the next suite that among other things, woke me up around 2an and continued to scream at someone for a good half hour. The sound insulation in the building was awful and it was enough to easily wake me up even though the neighbor shared a wall on the opposite side of the suite from where I slept. I called the business's emergency number and the woman who answered dismissively said there's nothing she could do and to call the police. I was dumbfounded that a hotel manager would be so lazy and useless at their job. At a minimum they either should have called their unruly guest and asked them to observe quiet hours and respect their neighbors before escalating it themselves to the police. Not once did they even apologize for the inconvenience.
The service alone was going to get this place a 1 star but the room itself was unpleasant as well. The heating system is decentralized, noisy, and is annoying to control and no instructions or guidance are given. The kitchen was not very welcoming and easy to use, in large part to the cabinets and countertops not matching. For example, there is a lower cabinet half way into the sink that gets in the way of your head when doing dishes. The lights in the main space were also dim and harsh at the same time. There's a profoundly dumb and ugly mix of warm and daylight light fixtures that give the place a terrible feeling. The living and dining area layout doesn't make much sense and the TV points at a blank spot in the wall and not where anyone would sit. The sink also wasn't even clean when I arrived.
The place seems to have a staff that doesn't care about its guests and their indifference is matched only by the inattention to detail of the people that design the rooms and manage the place. Find another place to stay in the area and save yourself...
Read moreWe booked this hotel because we had tickets to a concert at the nearby Northern Quest Casino. I had thought there would be 2 couples so we booked a 2 bedroom suite. The other couple cancelled, so we only needed a 1 bedroom. I tried several times to change the booking but was unable to, because they were full (certainly not their fault). ||I called the hotel the day before to see if we could get early check-in and the person I spoke to said, "no problem at all". We could check in at 2 pm. We arrived around 2:30 and the gal at the desk didn't know anything about my previous request. She very kindly did allow us to check-in but we were put in a wheel chair accessible room, which was not our original booking. The room had an unpleasant odor (it smelled like feet), but I had some Febreze fabric spray, so I sprayed the carpets and it was better after that. It was very dark in the unit, one small window in the living room and dark colors. Upon close inspection, the tub did not look extremely clean (I could see a ring around the bottom), but it was hard to tell because it was so dark. There is nowhere to sit outside the unit. ||The shower ran out of hot water after 1 shower. I had reasonably short shower and there was no hot water after me, for my husband. ||We booked transport to the concert using the Casino's shuttle service. It did not show up when promised, we had waited 20 minutes and were getting nervous we would be late for the show, so we opted to drive. This is not a comment on the hotel, as they had nothing to do with this service. Just beware if you are staying for a concert, you might want to drive. We ended up finding parking at the Casino, no problem.||My only other comment is that there was nothing to wash dishes with, other than an old worn out dirty looking sponge. A new clean sponge for each guest would be appreciated. ||Pros, close to the casino, plenty of space, helpful front desk staff, bed was ok|Cons, could be cleaner, no outside seating, not enough hot...
