I am compelled to formally document an egregious failure of basic customer service and humanity at this hotel, managed by Destiny. My husband was stranded out of state after his truck and phone both ceased functioning. His sole means of communication was a hotel room phone that, critically, cannot make local calls.||||In a genuine emergency, I attempted to contact him through the hotel. Initially, I was connected to his room twice without issue. On my third attempt, however, Destiny abruptly refused to transfer my call, citing an inflexible “policy.” Despite my clear explanation of the emergency nature of this situation and my urgent plea for assistance, she exhibited zero empathy, compassion, or willingness to accommodate. When I requested escalation to her superior or corporate contacts, she refused outright, denying me any means to escalate the matter.||||Compounding the distress, my husband personally approached the front desk to explain our predicament, only to be met with rudeness and dismissiveness. This callous attitude only intensified the undue stress he was already experiencing.||||This conduct constitutes a profound breach of the hotel’s duty of care to its guests. The refusal to facilitate basic communication during an emergency, coupled with the unprofessional and heartless demeanor of management and staff, reflects severely on the hotel’s operational standards.||||I demand immediate investigation and corrective action by the hotel’s corporate leadership. This manager’s behavior is wholly unacceptable and merits termination. Guests entrust hotels with their safety and well-being — to be met with such callous disregard is...
Read moreEverything was fantastic!! I'm a neat freak and you can't get much better than Radisson! The breakfast was yummy! The bathroom was spotless! The maid service card said "Rosie." The towels were amazing! We really enjoyed the outdoor seating and tables! The outdoor firepit was not on either evening when we were around, but I would love that also! We really appreciated the public restrooms right inside the front door so we didn't have to go all the way to our room. We didn't have time for the pool, but my friend did and said it was super clean and warm- she swam alone, early morning, for 45 minute and loved it. The beds were super comfy! Thank you for the extra blanket option- I don't need them, but hubby does. I prefer Holiday Inn Express pillows to any other chain, but that's where I'm picky lol. Would have appreciated a cable TV channel guide. The spotless fridge was nice and cold. Thank you for the hair dryer. Water pressure in the bathroom was great! Clock/radio was a nice touch that some no longer offer. Lots of outlets for all our electronics. I appreciate all the extra lighting AND the cover on the TV remote. The A/C was amazingly loud :( I thought the neighbor's shower was a little loud too, but that didn't keep us waking up all night lol. In our comings and goings I only was able to nab one cookie in the lobby :( Would love for you to get together with Green Mill and have them give us a free appetizer or $5 off coupon. Parking lot was well lit and we felt safe. All in all County Inn & Suites is usually always our first choice if...
Read moreI have back pain after sleeping on one of the queen mattresses in our room. I discovered in the morning that the second queen has a better mattress. I woke up a lot from discomfort. The bathroom looked clean, but had a strong mildew smell. I suggest the facility uses vinegar in the mop water and laundry to get rid of that smell. I couldn't tell if the smell was coming from the surfaces or towels and I didn't want to bury my face in a towel to find out. I was only here for the night and skipped a shower because I didn't want to smell like mildew.
I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. They had a variety of toppings for the waffles and topping options for the eggs, as well as sausage gravy. They also had oatmeal with stuff you could add like dried cranberries. There were multiple types of breads, juices, and cereals. The coffee was better than most hotel breakfasts and had a variety of creamer options as well as sweeteners. This was the highlight of our stay.
I was also surprised that not many people were staying there while we were there on a Friday night. It was nice and quiet throughout the night. This surprised me as some of the other hotels nearby were booked. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't the uncomfortable bed and smelly bathroom. We didn't try any other amenities during our short visit. I will also add that the staff I interacted with...
