For the price of the rooms, I expected so much better. I wish I would've read reviews ahead of time, and I would've booked somewhere else. 160 per night and the pool and hot tub are not available with no warning until you check-in. We had to switch rooms because the bathroom fan doesn't work, so it gets super hot in there because no air is going in there at all. The bathroom is always warm, unless you keep the door open. The "mattress" for the pull out sofa was full of stains, and the cushions for the couch had a big piece of gum stuck to them. The AC is terrible! When it's running, it gets too cold, but as soon as it turns off, it's hot again. TERRIBLE!!! The sofa bed is not supposed to be luxurious, I get that, but it was the absolute WORST one I ever ever slept on. The mattress for it was about an inch thick. We switched rooms, and the air in that room barely works-not kicking out cold air at all. There's no garbage can in the bathroom, and the towel bars in the bathroom are broke off. We've stayed in a lot of different hotels, and this is worse than spending 70 a night for the Comfort Inn or Super 8. They need new management, because it's ridiculous to be so disgusting, being such a new hotel. The breakfast was not good at all. There's not many options, and they don't put the waffle maker out during the week apparently, but it was sitting on the counter when we checked in on Sunday afternoon, so I was expecting it to be available the next morning. The cereal was the only thing I liked and it was stale. My daughter tried the oatmeal and couldn't stomach more than one bite of the slimy oatmeal. SOOOO disappointing and a complete waste of my hard earned money! So upset that I decided to splurge for this, and it turned out so horrible, with terrible nights of sleep and being so inconvenienced and...

We stayed here for over a month so got to know the place and area fairly well. As a business location it's pretty good, main road access is excellent. If you spend lots of time working from the hotel I'd suggest other areas such as Novi, Northville or Troy. The room has everything you could ask for; oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer, work desk and chair, couch, etc. The bed was ok, but I have slept on better. My only issue with the room is the rangehood isn't super effective which means you can't cook anything too smokey. The gym was ok, the pool was too small to swim laps but kids would like it, the shared laundry was ok also. The issue for me was the very poor breakfast, nearly everyday they had salty dry scrambled eggs that looked like it was made from powdered eggs, the sausage meat patties were also salty, they also had cereal (3 types, 2 of which were full of sugar), bagels, and yoghurt. Unfortunately, none of the hot food was to my taste (and are just defrosted and heated to be served each day, sometimes you get cold bits), I also spoke to one of the reception staff about it and they agreed it was below par. They also have coffee and hot water urns available all day except they usually ran out by mid afternoon and left empty till the next morning (I could've asked but didn't want to be asking every day, would've been nice if we could get a kettle for our room) The staff are great, they are all helpful and willing to assist without any hesitation.

Unfortunately, I probably wouldn't stay again purely because the breakfast was so poor, hopefully management sees the breakfast as more than a...

I came here for my birthday to lay our head down before we drove back to Lansing. The white lady at the front overnight was probably the most nastiest person I ever encountered. I know it’s cliche to say but I don’t usually write reviews especially bad ones unless I have had an extremely terrible experience because working in the customer service industry I understand that people can truly mess up your attitude. However, she hates her job. Not only did she cancel my reservation just to do her “audit” instead of calling to see if I was still coming then when she asked me to call back to reschedule and i did, she couldn’t do it over the phone all of a sudden. then when we came in person she was so rude. like to the point i should’ve hopped over the counter. I have NEVER been treated that way by a hotel staff. We weren’t being crazy or anything. We would’ve took whatever. Then I was charged 4 times even though I only purchased 2 rooms. Called over the phone because she didn’t add my loyalty number even though I said in person please add it. Now they saying a cancellation fee was for the 2 other charges when I never cancelled anything. I have the app and all and try to ONLY stay at marriott. oh, then on top of that I had fraud on that exact card not too long after her nasty attitude. yeah, please don’t wait your time. I spent $600 on one night when I could’ve stayed at something WAY better if that was the case. and I would’ve been treated even a...

Worst Marriott I ever stayed. I checked in Monday and didnt have any cleaning service for four nights. And the door lock was not working due to low battery on the locking system. The general manager said their service is limited due to a short staff issue. This could happen but I dont appreciate her attitude. She wasnt sorry for my inconvenience at all. I have been traveling since COVID era, never had this kind of issue at the hotel. For my whole 4 nights, even with my request for cleaning needs, they didnt even come to my room one time to fill towels or toilet paper. Finally, they sent someone at 6pm on Thursday when I just started the conf call and so had to turn down the cleaning service. Also My door lock wasnt working due to the low battery. The front desk agent came to help a few times to my room with their super key. They told they will fix it. But it didnt happened untill I made a call and complained to the general manager. If they cant serve customers properly, they shouldnt accept customers or limit. At least warning to customers in advance. Checking in time takes long time because the front desk agent doesnt know the system well. This hotel has some management issues Definitely. Most of all, this hotel building is not well insulated even if it is quite new. You can hear people upstairs or next room walking or making some sound.

Literally stay anywhere else. A dirty room is inexcusable under normal circumstances but in the middle of a global pandemic it's downright dangerous. I had to make an unplanned stop near Detroit and figured I'd stay here as I was headed to a similar property for a long term stay. I'm currently at another Towneplace in a different city and this like night and day. The floors were likely never vaccumed, table had caked on food, dust everywhere. Oh and did I mention the blood stained blanket? DISGUSTING! Oh and mask wearing was encouraged at best, but certainly not mandated by anyone on the management team.
