Subway — Restaurant in Allen Park

The first time I went here with my toddler, two months ago, for lunch, employees (including owner) were having a highly inappropriate conversation which included vulgar language and no sense of respect to who was around. (Ex: “I can’t believe you’re married to a white bitch” and other trashy continued conversation) I couldn’t get my baby out of there quick enough. They also didn’t have certain toppings or chocolate milk.

I tried again last Tuesday. An employee walked back from the bathrooms/lobby without washing hands and put on gloves. The toppings were again missing, the spinach was soggy and unlike I’ve ever seen and the rest of the toppings were all mixed in each other’s containers. Another employee was HACKING near the open toppings and food. The employee helping me must have seen my disgust and said “don’t worry, I live with her, she’s not sick” as if that was going to make me feel better. No employees were observed to wear masks or wash hands. I ended up paying, leaving quickly to wash my own hands and trying the food but it got thrown away.

I worked at the dollar show for years down the road and got this subway for lunch nearly every day. It was always clean and the workers were friendly. It’s sad to see this location turn so trashy under new management. I came in here around 4:45pm. There was no one else there, the dining room was a mess and both employees were sitting down. I told them i needed a few subs and they asked how many. I told them 3 foot longs and 2 6 inch subs. The girl helping me looked at her co- worker and then told me they have a 4 sub limit. I said, so you won't make 1 extra sub? I have 5 in my family. It's like 4 subs with 2 halves. She refused to make them. There was no one else there so it's not like anyone would have had to wait. I then asked her if she was refusing to help me and she just looked at her co- worker again. I told her that i would just take my business elsewhere. Then both workers gave me dirty looks. I left. I have never been so disappointed in a business before. To refuse to do your job and tell me its what your manager told you to do is wrong. Im sorry i have a bigger family and sitting around doing nothing is your priority. I won't be returning to this subway again. I work in the medical field and wish that i could sit down long enough to eat a meal or use the restroom. I see if first hand, no one wants to work, even when...

I went their yesterday order almost 60 dollars worth of food .ask for new foot long cookies. in other new stuff .said they don't have .that it was all gone .goes fast.he look like he was lying.even the other guy that worked their .gave him a look like that was not true .wow.then my granddaughter wanted a sub. didn't have the one she wanted .didn't even have the sub buns she wanted . .the sub bun all out .then we got some chicken .bacon ranch .it was not the cubs this was some torn up shed up meat .that did not taste like chicken .it taste like turkey.???
