I keep giving them additional chances because theyâre local. Went in today to buy electrical tape. It was marked 9.99 and they tried to charge me 14. The young lady wasnât very happy that everything was marked wrong. Thatâs not my problem. Iâm not trying to scam the system. Someone made a mistake and I shouldnât pay for it. year ago I gave them five stars. Today they get one. I live in Allen Park, and I want to support local business even if I pay more. I go off of an app to use my rewards. The rewards you get in the mail you canât use right away. They give you a specific time frame and you have to spend enough money to get the discount. Generally they accept the rewards as long as theyâre within the date. They wonât do that anymore. When I spend $100, getting $10 or $20 off makes a difference. I bought a total of 66 gallons of Anti-freeze. Getting an attitude about a cart is the last thing I want. The other thing I donât want is single gallons when cases come in six. I guess itâs off to Home Depot or...
Read moreI gave a 3* Google review and was asked to take a survey to provide additional feedback. The link for this survey didn't work and I had to copy and paste the link without the period at the end of the sentence to make it work and that epitomizes why I didn't give a better review. Then I typed this paragraph into the survey and hit submit and the form failed. Fatal error.
I wanted to order online and pay and then come in to pick up to avoid an much contact as possible. Your website had 3 of 4 items I needed but said the fourth item would be available a few days later so I called the store to verify the other item was in stock and it was. Apparently there was no good way to order all 4 for pick-up and prepay because the website did not have the correct inventory. So I had to order 3 items online and prepay and still go through the store and pay at the register. So I had extra contact instead of less. The staff was great in the store. Very helpful. Your online...
Read moreI came in to get some keys made and left with some Milwaukee power tools. The batteries on the tool were bad. I exchanged the tool and when I got home those batteries were also bad. Rachel, a manager from what I can make out, and another employee, whoâs name eludes me, took all the tools out to test all the batteries to make sure I got a good set. Weâll after 10+ sets it was determined the batteries were all bad! We ended up with slight upgrade.
They didnât have to do what they did. I know some of the bigger box stores might have continued giving me replacements and wasting my time. They saw an issue and got on it and made it right. That type of service is not common nowadays.
Thank you for your time and willingness to offer a âmom & popâ service from a big chain store!
If Rachel reads this, add the other girls name please!
