In Short, Happy coincident to find this place and it did not disappoint. Great food. Great service. Great Location. You should give it a shot. With a few more details, I was in the town center around lunch time and I saw this big green sign that said Taco Mesa so I decided to check it out and get a menu but when I went inside I decided to have it for lunch. They cook everything in tallow including their chips. I got the Fajita to go. Chicken and steak were good. Rice and beans are included. The smell was fantastic. Salsas were great. I got more from the salsa bar as well. The cheese stuffed Jalapeño was really good. Tortillas were a highlight. Delicious and made in-house. Service was great. The guy behind the counter was very helpful introducing me to the brand and helping with the menu. I had no idea they have 5 locations in the OC. So I’m guessing I will be back with the family. I also want to try the breakfast burritos. This is a definite recommendation for Anaheim Hills and Yorba Linda.

We love the Orange location, but I don’t remembering it costing this much. My wife got three tacos and a Coke, I got a cheese enchilada plate and horchata for over $50, which is crazy for counter service and paper plates. The utensils are metal, which scrapes the paper into your food. No chips included. The interior is a joyless white box. Zero decor. The employees seem nice enough. The food was good, but I can literally go to any sit down restaurant in the area and get more food for less. Unless the prices change, we won’t be back. UPDATE: After reading one of the review responses from the owner, I’m definitely not coming back here.

The blackened shrimp taco was amazing. It was stuffed with all the toppings which perfectly complemented the shrimp. I added the pickled onions which are oh so yummy. We each ordered the chips which had great flavor. The others had high praise for the fried fish tacos. Overall great place!!

I was worried for this place and didn't have high expectations, but boy this place was a great surprise! Perfectly sized burritos and very tasty, accentuating salsa bar, and their drinks are wonderful!!! I first went for breakfast and had their breakfast burrito. My wife had huevos rancheros. We LOVED it. The tortillas were especially good, both flour and corn. You can tell it's homemade and it makes a huge difference. I then went for lunch and had the crispy taco (fritos), taquitos, and steak burrito. Everything was great, love the crispy taco and the burrito was especially good. I'm not a huge fan of beans, but the beans were different than regular refried beans and very tasty. The horchata was awesome. And, I love their salsas and not stingy like some others (e.g. down the road). The other comments about price is lame - be realistic. Everything is more expensive these days and the costs are comparable to other places in the area. It's not what I would consider fast food, so keep that in mind. Give this place a try. I'm so glad they opened in the neighborhood....

The best tacos and burritos in Anaheim Hills! The staff is friendly and helpful, the tortillas are freshly made, the meats are perfectly marinated, and the salsas are all so flavorful.

Highly recommend the al pastor with a perfect mix of pickled onion and pineapple (very good with a side of guac). But my favorite was the blackened shrimp burrito which had large, flavorful shrimp which were perfectly cooked. My group ordered a couple of burritos to-go, and since they are all "wet," the sauces came on the side. They weren't labeled, which left us to guess which sauce went on which burrito, but it truly didn't matter because the combinations were all delicious. All three desserts held up well for takeout, including the tres leches cake which has a fine crumb texture and fresh strawberries. The flan de queso was the most popular dessert for our group, and the churros came with a rich chocolate sauce.

Reasonably priced, impressive service, high quality deliciousness, and great for takeout. And it sounds like they are bringing in local brews soon, too. We'll...
