Corner Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in Anaheim

Usually I really love the Corner Bakery, but this visit was a little bit confusing to me. They give you this vibration sev8ce to pick up your order now. But, no one tells you whwre to pick up your food. Then, no one tells you they bring out your utensils to you. I had to ask alot of questions like, where do I get my silverware so someone showed me (maybe she was another guest not sure)! Even though silverware is available to pick up yourself, they also brought out a aet with my meal! But, no one explained clearly to me the NEW PROCESS they recently implement ed. I had to go ask for salt and pepper, but they told me it's on the table. Um, no, it wasn't as I was sitting outdoors on patio area. I had to ask too many questions and get up and down too many times for things. Minus these inconveniences, I was reasonably satisfied since my food tasted hot and delicious! If I could give this location a negative # I absolutely would. My daughters and I popped in for dinner on Tues 5/11/2021 on one our busy afternoons of on the go activities...

First of all the service was bottom of the barrel terrible, questions were treated as bothersome and this was as we were ordering, regarding entrée sizing.

I ordered a pasta dish, adding chicken and of course paying extra, barely found 3 sliver pieces of chicken and terrible sauce.

My daughters ordered roasted turkey sandwich kids meal with a side of fruit. Well, when they finally opened their meal containers - they were disappointed. Cheap white bread slices, cut sloppy with a slab of cheap deli slices turkey, didn't look or taste roasted. Oh and we did not receive our side of fruit!!

This place used to be great, but we have given it to many opportunities for redemption. Terrible service, terrible low quality and...

The reason for the disliked review is the food. The service was good. The employees were very nice and professional. Our child got pasta with a meatball. Pasta was luke warm and the meatball lacked flavor. My ham and swiss sandwich had too much mustard making it very hot and unenjoyable. The bread was just ok, the ham was good, but the cheese tasted old not fresh. Cheddar broccoli soup was lacking flavor and was lack luster. Club panini reminded us of cheap cold cuts you could get at your local grocery store. The food ended up giving all of us indigestion and in the morning not feeling great. The restaurant hasn't been updated since it opened and it shows with torn/cracked seats and worn down furniture. This location is looks like it's headed for a downward spiral including the food. Corner Bakery needs to step up their game and get their food up to par so they can afford to update...
