Finding and visiting Anaheim Hills Jewelry & Coin Mart today was a true treat. I called them because I needed help to get my Tissot Seastar dive watch working again (my first wedding anniversary gift from my wife almost exactly 11 years ago).

Alex picked up the phone and was so kind and helpful that I was excited to bring the watch to the shop as soon as I could. The atmosphere of the store was wonderful. As soon as I entered, I was greeted and told that I would be helped as soon as possible.

Alex came to the counter, remembered our conversation over the phone, and was able to take a look at the watch right away. David, another resident awesome horologist, was able to answer some more questions that I had about my old but special watch.

They were so knowledgeable and kind. With careful hands they were able to get the crown unstuck so that I could actually set the watch again! When I asked if I needed a full service for the watch they said that since it was still running with good accuracy that I could wait to have it done. They also said that they could absolutely do the service when I was ready.

Beyond this, I brought them an additional link (an original that came with the watch) with a missing pin. Since I had (unfortunately) gained weight I was unable to wear the watch comfortably. Not only did they find me a replacement pin but they also installed it and had me try it on. It was a perfect fit!

Alex also took the time to show me the microadjustments on the band that I could use to fine tune the fit in the future. I was expecting to be without my watch for a while but I left the store about 15 minutes later with my watch back on my wrist, fitting perfectly, and beating away like new.

Whatever the small amount they charged me was not enough! I wanted to pay them more for their time, expertise, and care! This is the reason I am taking the time to write this. They are awesome!

I went from being worried about being able to fix my anniversary gift watch from 11 years ago to having a friendly neighborhood jewelery shop that I quickly learned I could trust for advice and service. I will be coming back with more watches. Alex and David thank you SO much! Your shop is truly a rare and wonderful treat in this...

UPDATE 8/14/2024 Are you getting your diamonds professionally serviced? At least once a year your 💎 should be serviced by a certified jeweler to keep the stones looking pristine. During a service, the jeweler will check that each stone is held firmly in the setting. Additionally, the 💎 will get cleaned, some jewelers use an ultrasonic cleansing bath to remove dirt and pollutants from the 💎.

I had this beautiful stone locked away for over 10 years. Last week I decided to find a setting for it. Mr. David Rime noticed I was uncertain of what I was looking for, and suggested this piece for my beautiful stone.

I used to live in Anaheim Hills about 8 minutes from Anaheim Hills Jewelry & Coin store. My family and I see David for all of our jewelry needs. I now live in Arizona and I still go to David for all of my jewelry needs. A few months back I was helping a friend move to Arizona from California and somehow I hit my wedding ring and lost a Diamond. I called David and he told me the best way to ship my ring to him and he would have it back to me in a couple of days. Due to the coronavirus, I was still afraid to send my ring due to people opening up other peoples packages. So we took the long drive and 8 hrs later my jewelry was in David’s hands. I expected to drop off my wedding ring and some other items and he would mail them back to me, but that did not happen. David called me later that day and told me he would have all of my items fixed and my wedding ring fixed the same day and I could pick them up the next morning. I was so ecstatic and grateful you have no idea, how many other jewelers does anyone know that would do things like this! David is a really amazing person very kind and truly cares about his customers, even the long distance ones. The next day I picked up all of my jewelry and headed back home to Az. David.....we love you, you are truly the best we will see you again next time we are in OC. Take care & MANY thanx again.
