Best Western Anthony/West El Paso — Hotel in Anthony

BED BUGS!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We stayed in room 108! There was a bedbug crawling around on a pillow & my husband took the whole pillow & bedbug to the front desk personnel. The guy at front desk confirmed it was a bedbug! We asked for garbage bags & had to get rid of our belongings! I have bites from laying on the bed unknowingly having bed bugs in them! We’re all mortified! No one should have to go through this experience, let alone put their family & babies through this. We had to book another hotel, we were not going to stay in another room here under these poor conditions. The room was also humid and warm, had the AC on lowest setting and was still uncomfortable. We contacted customer relations department made a formal complaint with best western corporate but now we just heard back from them that the Manager at this location is denying any bed bugs & any compensation towards our additional hotel booking we had to make that night, and loss coverage for our belongings. I’ve tried multiple times to speak with someone and no answer. You would think the manager would contact me immediately to make things right but it’s been the complete opposite and only have heard back from corporate denying any bed bugs. I wish I would’ve taken pictures but we got out asap when we saw the bed bug! There’s cameras in the lobby, so it should be on video. Save yourself from staying here and book elsewhere, don’t go through this awful experience...

The BW Oasis in Anthony is very well-maintained with super comfortable beds and a variety of different pillows to choose from. Our room (109) was downstairs and we did not hear the upstairs neighbors except one time when they came in around 9pm — but we only could hear light footsteps and not what is typical for motel rooms.

The rooms have a mini coffee bar, a fridge with small freezer, a microwave, an iron and a hair dryer. Our room was very clean and the beds were spotless. There are even sani-wipes in the rooms to use for the TV remote, door knobs, etc!

The breakfast bar was also really clean and was kept stocked up during the early Saturday morning rush. They had fresh scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage links, hot oatmeal, a variety of fresh fruit, yogurts, and pastries, in addition to a coffee bar, cold cereals and juices. I was happy to have almond milk available to use in my oatmeal and I noticed a sign that said they have gluten-free options to choose from.

The pool area was nice and clean. And they offer towels to use at the pool so you don’t have to use the ones from your room.

Although some people might not like that the rooms are all exterior, we like being able to park right in front of our room and not have to lug our suitcases onto a cart and then through the hallways to get to our room.

We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to and from...

It's a nice hotel, the room was pretty clean and modern. It's located really close to the Wet n Wild water park, which is the reason we came here and stayed at this hotel. The receptionist was really nice and courteous. He gave us a little welcome bag with some treats, which was really nice. The sink at the room we stayed was leaking, we told the guy at the front desk and he told us he didn't have a maintenance person at the time but he offer to get us another room. We did get another room, so we had to change all of our stuff to the new room. The air conditioner inside the room is pretty loud, even at the lowest speed for the fan. When it starts at night it feels like the engine of an airplane is starting up, it kept waking me up and I couldn't turn it off because the room would get too hot. The breakfast wasn't great either. The thing I liked the most was the waffles, they were shaped like Texas which I thought was cute. But the eggs didn't really taste like eggs, my 3 year old loves eggs but he spit out these ones because he didn't believe us they were eggs. The sausage didn't taste good either. Overall it was a good experience and the staff was nice. I was expecting a little bit more for the price I paid. I've gotten a better hotel experience at other places for...
