Where do I begin? We were having a leisurely stroll at the state fair when my husband spotted a purple bed. Was it the color or his love for being horizontal? It’s a mystery. Well not even 5 minutes later and he was possessed by Stevie Wonder and had a mattress signed, sealed and delivered. I was so excited because I had been dreaming of having dreams on a purple mattress for years!
Then the day came for our mattress to arrive. It happened so fast. They were in and out with one of our old mattresses gone. Base set up and mattress on and they were out the door. Then horror struck. We are about to enjoy the best night of our lives when we jumped into bed and discovered they delivered the wrong mattress.
We looked at our receipt to confirm the right one was at least ordered and to our dismay found another surprise. The adjustable base we thought came as a deal with our mattress wasn’t the deal we expected. We reached out to our sales guy from the state fair about the mattress only to be given no answers and often no responses at all. Customer service at the fair was great. Follow up however was a hot garbage dumpster fire.
Then comes in John. Like an answer to prayers. It was days of no sleep and although John had nothing to do with the original purchase he took things into his own hands to get things fixed. With how fast our delivery came the first time we expected this next portion to be a swift fix but due to the state fair sales guy not responding or helping at all things were taking twice as long. We felt so deceived. My husband was on cloud nine during the purchase and must have blacked out the whole thing because the state fair guy never went through our receipt with him and didn’t confirm anything.
John took his time. Explained everything in detail and treated us like royalty. He was able to do what state fair guy made seem impossible. After weeks of no sleep and John getting the go ahead to take over the state fair guys issue we were finally on the home stretch.
John went above and beyond with us. He had no commissions or anything coming to him during this entire mess but that didn’t stop him. I am already thinking of more mattresses to buy from him for our kids because of his great service!
John you are a beautiful angel man. We were buyers that knew what we wanted and bought it from the wrong person originally. I will only buy from John in the future.

Read moreDo NOT go here! Trust me when I say I regret it 1000%. I had issues with the delivery and the sales guy not being honest about the differences in delivery options in pricing. But then I saw a $200 additional charge on the first statement. Another store manager at a different location helped me out and talked with Syncrony bank (their financer) about the over charge and took it off. Okay great. But then today we noticed $1800 taken out of our BANK account. Not a credit card, out of my bank account without permission. We set up the automatic monthly payments which were to be $63 a month. And instead they took the full amount remaining. Didn't say a word, no communication what so ever. No notification either thinking okay if the full amount was charged to our account, wouldn't you think an email would be sent saying congrats on paying off your mattress? Nope. Instead we try to log on to the Syncrony website to see what's going on and invalid log in info? Contacted a rep and "there is no account with my info given. It must be paid off." So wait your telling me that their financer took the full amount out of my bank and then closes the account so I have no access to any info? (And btw this sales guy was trying to sell us hard on the 0% financing Black Friday special and so we did it). But just to get a hit on my credit, just to say oh you have a new credit card with Syncrony Bank, to oh by the way a week later, it shows on your credit that the "credit card" is maxed out because that's how they work, you have financed the full amount so it's essentially maxing out the credit right away dropping your credit. And now this, taking the full amount anyways out of my bank, without permission. So I basically financed for no reason, took a hit to my credit, and had my cash money taken out of my bank without my permission. Let that sit it before you think of buying anything from this place! Read moreThere was a misunderstanding between the salesman B and me. The order was canceled ok and I chose another mattress. However, in settling the price difference I am 99% sure that I was overcharged $30.63. Also, I was charged $1,699 for a BeautyRest Hybrid 12.5" firm twin but the internet price at your store shows $1,399. The whole transaction was a confused mess, and I feel I was overcharged.
ETA--Spoke to John the Mgr and he knew about the issues and promptly and courteously made corrections to my order so that everything is as it should be, even better! I appreciate his diligent attention and will be a return customer as he has made me happy!
ETA 17 Aug...I waited about a month for my overcharge (their fault) refund from the corp office as John asked me to do. No refund. I called the office and was told to take it up with the store as they have "limited visibility" to store orders(!) I went to the store and left with only my paperwork and a passel of excuses. There is ALWAYS a way to take of the customer or you won't have any. Don't do business with these people. I will probably never get back my $428.48 but hopefully my comments herein will steer at least one person to another shop, and it will be $ well spent. I will update if this is resolved, but as of today these comments stand.
And, it gets worse. I contracted for "Platinum" delivery and setup. The delivery folks spoke no English and didn't even tighten the bolts finger tight on the headboard brackets.
