Honest Reasonable Review, Ok so I found this Hampton to be very typical for this level of a hotel. People this is not a double tree and also is not a 400+ room so I find the comment of they don’t have newest tech or I don’t like the new fake wood lament is bathroom to be a bit ridiculous. I also liked that there were security cameras and a security car parked, so whomever said this made them feel unsafe? This seems a bit off, it’s Memphis not Pleasant Ville. We arrived and they had updated our 2 rooms to a suite. However we need one room with 2 beds as my two adult children ( one boy-one girl) sent awkward sharing a bed. The staff were great about correcting this and still were able to get us rooms next to one another. However I would not call the room a “suite”. The room was exact same size as other room with all the same things. It merely had a king bed. If it would have had a pull or couch instead of just a lounge chair, which the other room had as well I may call this a suite. This didn’t really wreck my stay or anything just some advice for the hotel. That being said I found it to be reasonably clean. The bathroom did not have any mold although caulking was a bit stained, I would not call that a deal breaker, these rooms see alot of water and traffic so I’d comment the cleaning staff here. The floor was clean except in the very far back corners under the sink. The toilet was clean and the floor around was clean as well as all other corners in the bathroom. The sink was clean there wasn’t even dust on the shelf below the sink. The tub was clean as well as a fresh shower curtain that did not smell, again good job. They also had all soap stocked both by sink and in shower. Our door to the bathroom was swollen from heat from water, at least that is my observation. We were in room 500, so I’d think about replacing the door. The door still shut and everything it just made a loud noise when closing and you had to use heavy force to close making it hard for my 11 year old to close. The pool area was well maintained as well as the water was just the right amount of chlorine. I hate when the have too much. I was also very surprised to find pool towels completely stocked and the dirty was not over flowing, pool well maintained! The sheets were clean as far as I could tell. The carpet was your basic clean, my feet were not discolored from walking on it that means alot to me. Also all the corners I could see were clean. Breakfast your basic Hilton, waffels, eggs, potatoes bacon all hot. They had oatmeal yogurt and a basic bread bar. Also coffee was well made but again it was just inexpensive coffee, so this is acceptable this is not Starbucks. My only would like which I know other Hiltons have would be real half and half for breakfast to have with coffee. There wasn’t any sugar free yogurt which was kinda a disappointment as this is what I normally have, and would love to see some Cheerios for a low sugar cereal for the kids but that’s a suggestion. Although they did have granola but their cinnamon toast was not stocked. That’s about it as far as I could see. Overall has a good stay so I think it earns a 4 because it was just a basic Hampton, possibly a 4 1/2 but can’t choose that. Put a pull out in your “suit” that would have given and vamp up your breakfast and replace door would have given you a five star for me. Thank you for a good stay with...
Read moreI had mix feelings to give this place a 3 or 4 stars but I’m giving them the benefit of a doubt. Also I apologize for the slack of pictures as I forgot to take some and this is my wife taking pictures of the hotel…. (Good job haha).
The staff are friendly and helpful when you arrive and need assistance or need to check in. I showed during a shift change and before she left, she wanted to check me in just to finish up and not leave me hanging while they switch. Also will give you the routine brief of where everything is.
I stayed on the fifth floor and while traveling through the elevator to the room, I noticed that the area was aging. The carpet and furniture definitely needed some upgrades so don’t think this place has the best stuff for a Hilton because it doesn’t.
Once I got to my room, the room set up / furniture was definitely old. The beds were not as comfy and the bathroom was pretty gross. The walls had some residue, old soap and some weird dirt on it so we bought a bottle of bleach to clean up the area. However the most gross area was the tile area in the bathroom / when you walk in. The tile is dark black ish so you can’t see if it’s really clean or not. After my daughter walked around for about 5mins in her socks, they were completely black. Like they aren’t mopped once so I got more towels to cover the tile area. I forgot their crocs / shower shoes so I ended up throwing away their socks and buying new ones since they were far from saving.
I don’t expect a full on mop but maybe a brief mop might due since they have so many rooms to clean but again idk what their time limit is per room or their ability to clean the tile. Definitely could have just washed away the dirt but it was left there.
Been to a lot of hiltons and this was in the middle of best to worst. I didn’t hate it but I didn’t like it either. Breakfast was good and getting Ubers in the morning were easily accessible. Also it seemed like if you need something, it was no more than a 5 min drive since it seems to be in the middle of...

He handled this and I greatly appreciate his help and respect that he gave me and my family. If you stay here and have any issues, speak to him directly, if it is something that is in the wrong on their end, he will handle it.
Initially we had a great experience while we were staying here and even said we would recommend the hotel. !!!!NOT NOW!!!! When I called this morning before I had to contact Hilton due to the rudeness from the front, the lady initially stated the charge that I received for $250.00—— was due to a pet fee. She said she had checked me in (which was a lie, a nice gentleman did and he handed me the keys). She went on to make fun of my husband on the phone because of his disabilities from being a firefighter (Medically retired) and having the animal. We advised the lady that it was a government protected animal and we had documentation. So then when I mentioned we had proof of our animal being protected she said that it was a charge due to smoking as well. When the lady from Hilton contacted the hotel, the hotel said that it was an error and it should have been smoking fee. Like wow! So now the lady at the hotel is trying to cover herself from being sued due to making fun of my husband with his disabilities and for having the animal. Neither of us smoke and especially inside by our kids. My husband has a medical marijuana card and he does gummies and smokes sparingly but never inside. I’m sure they can see that on the outside cameras. Why was he outside multiple times when it was cold if he was smoking inside as they accuse us of doing? Ridiculous. I have been in customer service my entire life and have never seen anything like this. We have never had this issue at any other hotel we have stayed at which we stay at them almost weekly due to travel baseball for our son. I’m a Christian and am appalled that we are being...
