8/4/23 UPDATE: After writing this review, I was contacted by Cedric, the manager. (I think that was his name?) He listened and addressed all of my concerns. It was very obvious that he cared. Great guy. He gave us a $75 e-gift card to try again. I told him we didn't need any compensation, but he insisted. I really appreciate him.
Today my husband and I used that e-gift card for a lunch date. Ironically, the wait time and service was better this time around even though there were more guests than our last visit. Dragon shrimp appetizer and Margarita flight was great. I ordered the bacon bourbon chicken and enjoyed that as well. Unfortunately, my husband's medium rare steak was once again overcooked and very dry. There was a little baby cockroach crawling around in the napkin that I unwrapped my silverware in. So we got plasticware. And when the time came to pay, the server (Kyranique M. - she had short pink, lavender, & blue hair) had us write down our e-gift card number on the back of the receipt. We also gave her our debit card to charge the remaining $15. ($75 gift card, $90 ticket). I got a notification on my phone that my card was charged for $108. So she charged the entire balance onto my debit card and add her own 20% tip. (See pics below.) We asked her about it when she returned. Her immediate response was "I'll reverse it; it's ok." Which makes me think she knew what she was doing & got caught. She reversed the charges, but it certainly makes me wonder if it was intentional. I know how adding tips to the ticket works. And this is the only time we have ever encountered this when going out to eat. In the end, we gave her a 20% tip anyway, despite this. And I am very sorry to say, but we will not be back. We tried. I really like Cedric and hate to write this terrible review, but I have to wonder if this server is not ripping all her guests off. Really disappointed in our experience tonight. My family was seated immediately, but waited 18 minutes before we were finally greeted by a server. Had it been busy, I would have understood. But there were only a very small handful of tables occupied & 2 people seated at the bar. Food took awhile to get out, my husband's medium rare steak was slightly overcooked, & my top shelf long island iced tea was so strong I could smell the alcohol when our server set it on the table. Couldn't take more than a sip before I had to switch it for something lighter (and for the record I am definitely not a lightweight when it comes to drinks). Also took awhile before our server noticed we needed refills. Our server was nice, but not very attentive. Food was ok. This is not the Red Lobster...
Read moreWhen I say disappointed in the entire experience. I mean disappointed in the entire experience. Came here on Feb 28, 2022 to celebrate a friends birthday.
Had to wait an 2 hours just to be seated. The assistant manager had the nastiest attitude with us and several others. As a matter of fact people walked out saying she need to fix her attitude.
We had a party of about 8 and she wanted to seat 6 out of the 8 first and then make 2 people wait another hour for an open table when the section she sat us in had multiple seats available.
The waitress came to the table using profanity. Although it wasn’t against us. It was still unprofessional.
Waitress never brought us our drinks.
As my friend is trying to rectify the seating arrangements. The manager calls the police on him and says that he cussed her out. Which he never cussed her out.
The reason they had to rectify the seating is because the waitress told us we could utilize the booths adjacent the 6 seat table.
The General Manager comes and instead of telling the manager she was in the wrong she says well because I wasn’t there and don’t know what happened I have to ask you to leave. I will say she did give my friend a $50 gift card for his birthday. Which further admits guilt and shows that she knew the other manager was in the wrong.
They wasted MPDs time. As we leave they tell us be glad you aren’t eating here because you’d probably be sitting there for forever before you get your food.
When I say I’ll NEVER eat at another Red Lobster EVER!!!! Idc whose birthday it is or what’s going on. I won’t SPEND a dime in another Red Lobster EVER. This was an experience I’ll never forget. Don’t waste your money here anyway food ain’t that...
Read moreOn 11/11/2022, I placed an order at 5:07 with Red Lobster for the location at Germantown Parkway in Memphis Tn. After I received several text messages from door dashers that my food was not at the restaurant and had been picked up already, I called the restaurant, almost 2 hours later I still had no food. I called the store as my confirmation email instructed me to and spoke with a female manager who told me to contact DoorDash, yet my order was not placed via the DoorDash site, it was on Red Lobster Website. I chatted with a DoorDash rep who told me to call the store back, I called the store back and spoke with the same manager, she placed me on hold for an extended time while she allegedly contacted DoorDash, after a long hold she explained that DoorDash canceled the order on their end while still questioning me regarding what the website says on who I should contact for issues with my order/delivery. At first she told me the order was going to remade and then she told me that her general manager told her not to remake the order and to refund my order. Horrible customer service from both the store manager and the general Manager, . My food was given to the wrong person, but instead of remaking my food because Red Lobster messed up, they chose to give a refund. Poor customer service, poor resolution and Red Lobsters has lost a long time customer after today. The issue with most of these restaurants nowadays, is that they simply don’t listen and can care less...
