A lots! Staff is service was horrible due to they were short handed. Room wasn't clean at check in. Then they hurried and half clean a room which was Rm 123. When entered the room it was musty strong order in room. A stain was on commode seat n hair was in shower still from a previous guest. Still they said no other room was available I decide to just made due.
Holy behold I was lying in bed with light on and what to my surprise, I saw bed bugs crawling across my bed. I justed Up terrified crabbed my cell phone and videotaped it! I crabbed my clothes went to the front desk and showed it to the desk clerk. Was told they was booked and has no other room. Then came back and said I will put you in another room. Gave me keys to room 223 and when I attempted to open this room. Holy behold, the keys would not work! Then I held talking in the room as someone was already in the room. Then I went back to the front desk. Told the clerk about the key not working and the room sounded like it was already occupied. Hey phone the room and holy behold someone did answer the phone from within that room! The clerk said the room showed open on the computer screen! Now poor documentation in the computer!!!!
Next I was told! We are fully booked I have to call the manager! After clerk speaking with the manager, I was given keys to room 401... By now I had phoned my friend down m. We together went to room 401. When entered the room it appeared to be clear. Then we pulled the cover back on both beds and holy behold, the two bed had what appeared to bed body fluid stains dried on the fitted sheet. I phoned the clerk, they had no one on duty in the hotel to come change the bed linens. The clerk said they would come change it but never did. Then i said I will just sleep in the other bed. Laid in the bed. Grabbed tge remote to watch TV and holy behold.... the TV wouldn’t cone on n didn’t work! By then I had all I could tAke! I went down to the clerk and checked out! I requested them to refund my company their money. Then I left! Holy behold, I thought this was just a bad dream but It was not! This was my horrible experience! You would think manager would have followed up the next morning with a call but she didn’t reach out to me at all. ...
Read moreOur room was so dusty and the shower had mold and anonymous hair. The bathroom floor had not been mopped/disinfected. Neither TV worked properly during the French Open Tennis finals or the final NBA championship game. one remote didn't work. The ice machine was broken our entire stay and we had to keep running floor to floor to find ice. The big heavy room doors had something missing....it slams shut if let go. So all night and early morning all we heard were slamming doors. Hotel staff is allowed to smoke at the entrances of the hotel so guests have to walk thru a plume of disgusting smoke to enter/exit the hotel. We were so horrified we tried to check OUT right away but was told there would be no refund. All room issues were reported to the font desk (Ashlyn or Ashley) in which NONE were addressed. Yes, I said NONE. No one dusted the half inch thick dust on the bedside table, phone or lamp, etc. No one cleaned the shower or floor, no one fixed the tv's or remotes or even looked at them. Ice machine was never fixed. Didn't want to walk thru smoke so we decided to use the side entrance instead of the main entrance and guess what?? Employees smoking at the side entrances as well. This was an awful experience for us and to be told that we can't check out early is really bad. I had such an excellent experience at the Fairfield San Marcos but quickly realized, while in LRock, all Fairfield hotels are not the same. Read moreWe stayed there again this year Oct 18 for one night, was very noisy on our floor, people running up and down hallway all night, doors slamming, parking was limited, parked at Farm Supply next door, room was clean. New hotel, staff was great, location convenient, great stay. We stayed there again on 7 Oct, we got to our room and light coming into the room wouldn't come on, then couldn't get the light above microwave to work. Went to front desk to report it, I was told, yes we have problems with those. The light will only come on when there is an emergency. Nothing about the light. Then later above us it sounded like somebody was bouncing a basketball up there, went back down to see if we could switch room but nothing was available, clerk didn't even bother to call the room to tell them to stop. Also toilet ran all night, had to shutoff water for the night. Then we stopped by again last night. Got to our room and thermostat didn't work. Clerk said yes it is broke but luckily the maintenance man was there and he said it also has some controls on the unit so you can turn on at the wall. No offer to move us. I asked the maintenance man about the entry light and microwave light. He explained the situation, the switch at the turn as three positions, one setting is for motion sensing, strange enough you have to have it turned to that to get the microwave light to work. That doesn't make much sense. Seems they need to retrofit those light switches. Rooms were clean though. Breakfast great. We like the location so will probably stay again on our trips to...
