Motel 6 Bonne Terre, MO — Hotel in Bonne Terre

reserved a King bed online and paid in full. The owner and I have some bad history. Back in December my mom had an emergency, ( Car accident) and was air evac to Cape Girdeau Missouri. From there she was air evac to Nashville Tennessee. I wasn't back at check out. I didn't think at the time, Nashville is a bit of a drive from Missouri, I seen someone was calling me from a Boone Terre Missouri number but I couldn't answer at the time because I was on the phone with the doctors about my mom. About the 100th time the owner time he called ( it seemed like) I finally answered it. He was very hateful and aggressive. I explained to him that my mom was in an accident, she's in surgery now and that I will be there as soon as I could to get my stuff out of the room. He didn't care, he said check out was at 11am and if I wasn't there by 2pm my stuff would be set outside and he didn't care if it was taken. I pled with him but it was a no go. I didn't make it to the hospital. I turned around and headed back to the motel. I made it there around 6pm and he was livid. He wouldn't let me say a word. I finally had to scream "" HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT FOR ME TO GET MY BELONGINGS?""He said $20.00 extra. I had no choice but to pay it. He unlocked the room I got my stuff out and he told me not to come back. Now it's March, I'm back, My husband and I rented the room. Apparently he remembers me. He said there's no King beds available. I asked what was? Double Queens. It's $6 more. Again I have no choice to pay. I'm not allowed in the office. Apparently he's sick. I give him my card and DL, My husband and I get to our room, we start to settle in and the TV doesn't work. Then 2 roaches runs across the wall. 1 towel, 1 wash cloth. ( NOT OKAY). We're both are so drained we just don't want to fight with him. Later that night I wake up and I realized I've left something in the car the. I walked passed this room with the curtains open and long and behold a KING BED! I want a refund or the BBB will be notified. This is wrong on all levels....

The room was FILTHY! Spider webs and spiders. No condiments whatsoever! No drinking cups No coffee pot No shampoo or hair conditioner. Faux wood floors FILTHY. Microwave oven without a glass plate. Drapes not completely hung up. Shower curtain torn and missing rings. No clothes hangers. Toilet paper holder missing the bar. TV remote batteries almost dead, had to stand 6 inches in front of TV in order to operate. 2 tiny bars of soap. ALL walls were scuffed and their were many holes the ceilings cracked and missing plaster in several areas. Bathroom baseboards were extremely FILTHY. No bedspreads and burn holes in the blankets. The room was booked for 2 nights with no refund. There were no vacancies in any other motels. I was In town on business without options, otherwise would not...

If I could have given it less than one star I would have. As soon as we walked in the room there are cockroaches crawling on both of the beds which I took pictures of burn marks and both of the bed covers. I took my shoes off walk from the bed to the bathroom back to the bed and my feet were black. No toilet paper roller or toilet paper in the bathroom or in the bedroom. There was trash on the counter when we came in. When my husband was sitting on the toilet a mouse ran across the floor into a hole in the wall. We only stayed there for a couple of hours it was an emergency stay. When we left I noticed a bag of drugs underneath our pickup truck by the driver door I took pictures as well. I don't think there's one good thing I could have say about...
