Bei Jing House — Restaurant in Bonne Terre

First, this is the BEST Chinese food in St. Francois County and surrounding areas.

After moving to the area 2 years ago, I tried and failed time and time again, to find a place that even came close to the famous St. Louis Chinese food that I was used too until I found this place. Lots of favor and the fried rice is truly St. Louis style fried rice (minus the onions and eggs). Yes, it is a little greasy and crispy at times, but that's the best part! If I wanted bland fluffy rice for dinner I'd thrown some in my rice cooker at home.

I love lots of flavor/seasoning to my food and Bei Jing House meets my expectations every single time.

Second, I see a lot of negative reviews about the owner being rude. She has NEVER been rude to me because I treat her, and her business, with respect and kindness and she has always responded with the same. I cannot even imagine the Karens and Kens they have to deal with, which probably got even worse after the pandemic. You call in an order and she says 30 mins but it takes a hour, they got busy. Bunch of orders came in at the same time, you're going to have to wait longer. They won't take your order cause they're closing within a hour, maybe they have family obligations after they close. There is only 2, sometimes 3 people working. Give them a break and don't run off and bash them on reviews. It's a family run business in the our community.

Bottom line: She works hard to run their business. Their food is amazing and if you treat her like she's a cashier at McDonald's she's not going to be nice to you. Show your appreciation for her hard work with a tip and I promise you'll get a big smile and...

The lady that works the register is extremely rude. Last time I was in there she gave my father a pork fried rice and insisted that it was beef like he originally ordered when we could clearly tell that it wasnt and refused to give us a refund or even just remake the order. The time before that she gave me the wrong order and when I got out to my car with it, she proceeded to open the door of my vehicle and ripped it out of my hands before explaining what happened.

If your so bad off that you need to be rude to customers, call them liars, and touch their personal belongings then maybe you need to shut your crap hole down or hire more help. I've tried having grace with this place time and time again because they have good food and its just two people who works there. They are extremely short staffed for how much business they get, and they are very short with customers...

We have patronized this Chinese restaurant for many many years. We love Chinese food and consider Bei Jing House to have some of the best food (with hefty portions) anywhere in the country. But after last night’s experience we won’t be back. The older woman is always unpleasant and sometimes simply rude. The last three times we have been there our food was Not ready. They didn’t even start cooking until we got there. I called our order in last night at 4:25 and was told it would be 35 minutes. My husband got there at 5:00 and waited 50 minutes.
