Huddle House — Restaurant in Bonne Terre

Worst experience we have ever had at ANY restaurant. First off, our order for a breakfast meal, dinner meal, and a kids pancake meal was $40. We came in over 20 minutes before they were supposed to close and was told we could only do carry out orders, no dining in. How unprofessional! (The closing time on the website and Google is STILL incorrect. I told the lady I was allergic and had to pull up the allergen menu on my phone. She never once asked if she could answer any questions for me. All she did you was come back every 2 seconds asking me "do you know what you want yet? We close in __ minutes." Then we get home and my daughter is upset because the lady promised her a side of whipped cream so it didn't get soggy on our way home but didn't give her any whipped cream. My food was absolutely disgusting and my husband's dinner wasn't even in the order. So I call the store, same girl answers and gets ignorant with me because she packed up my order and she knows she didn't make a mistake so I must be lying. So she passes the phone to the cook. The cook apologized and said he forgot because he had another order in front of ours and we could call the next day and get a refund on his meal or come the next day and get the missing items. But there was nothing they would do now because they are closed. So now it has been 2 weeks later, I have called multiple times and get told that the manager is busy and will call back. Wish I could give this a zero star. Waited a long time to get food...over 20 minutes. Very dirty vtech phone base next to the table that was caked in dust that looked to have accumulated on it for years. Flies everywhere. No AC in bathroom, just main dining room.

Food quality is not there. I got a grilled chicken dinner entree with a salad and chili. That chicken was not grilled. It was pan seared after put into the microwave. I honestly dont even think it was chicken...would not even feed this to a dog. The toast that came with my meal was bland. Just had nothing, no flavor and dry. I didn't think you could get toast wrong.

The chili I had left my bf and I with sore throats. It has been 2 hours and my throat still burns. Oil soup. Save yourself from this.

My bf got the philly omelete with hashbrowns. We both had to spit out the omelete because it was not edible. Inside of the egg was like biting into gell and just tasted like vomit. The hashbrowns were soggy and flavorless. His toast was unfortunately just as bad as mine. Rubber steak inside the omelete.

We heard the folks next to us complain about how bad their milkshake was and decided not to chance it.

Never received check. Went to counter to pay.

Well never felt more unwanted hear at this huddle house then today I have really felt like a 3rd choice of customers to the lady that came to our table that was dirty and since we sat down she was not allowed to clean it then told us we could 1 its not my job to clean tables at a restaurant unless I am a worker then asked what we were drinking and some family members came in and got 4 sodas and happy waitress after we were there first I mean I am about family but I am also what about 1st come first serve this was the worst visit I ever had at this huddle house that and believe I was done completely worng and a manager need this brought to we don't even know the name of a waitress I need a coffee refill still waiting I honestly feel like me and my partner has been discriminate against and ask to talk to management and got asked in regards to what if was over and I said that I felt so discriminate over the old lady and she went to bat for the lady and said it was not that lady's section then why did she ask what we were drinking and never brought it but someone else did and then someone else brought our food and in a hurry asking if we needed hot sauce ketchup well she olny allowed 1 of to say what we wanted and did not give me the other one a chance to swallow and yes ketchup...
