This place is waayyyy overpriced for the quality you get! Checked in yesterday and when I opened the door to the room there was a DISTINCT odor in the entire room. I used the restroom and the entire toilet shifted when I sat down. And no, I'm not a big girl. The bathtub had some weird stained on it. Went to sit down on the bed and noticed, what looked like, mold on one of the pillows. Then I pulled the sheets back to check if they were clean and there was, what looked like, blood smears. So I went to the front desk and asked them if I could have a different room that was clean. The staff member wanted to come and look at the room and when he did he said that if I gave him a half hours time he would personally change the sheets. I went and sat in my car for almost an hour and never received a text or calls that he was done. So I assumed the room was definitely done by now. I went to the room and it was exactly how I left it.... So I went back to the front desk and the staff member was just sitting and being on his phone, just like I found him the first and second time I saw him. I told him I was irritated because they stated they would fix the room and didn't even do anything for an hour and no one told me and that I told him I was going to go sit in the sun and heat until my room was actually cleaned. So I requested another room that was actually cleaned and he immediately jumped up and said he gave me another room and handed me the entry cards. I told him that someone should have updated me and he fumbled with the computer keys and accused me of not giving them a valid number, which is a funny accusation being that upon check in he asked for my number and updated the system... I digress. I went into another room just a few doors down. I get in and notice another room with some weird funky smell, a broken hanger and an ac that barely works. I had taken off my shoes and was just walking around and my feet turned black....black. So I went to take a shower immediately and the shower pressure could easily take off a layer or two of skin. It felt like being hit with the garden hose intense sprayer. I'm NOT exaggerating. I took a shower while it felt like gravel was being thrown at me and getting off some childhood dirt that was deep in my soul. The drain wouldn't drain either so I was also having to take a bath and a shower. I got out to dry off and I thought maybe the floor wasn't that dirty so I walked across the room and sat on the bedside and sure enough black feet. With just one walk. So I washed with the demon shower and have been wearing sandals all over this place. The ac also has to be ran 24/7 because it doesn't even really work. So you have to turn anything you're watching all the way up on the tv. My mind hasn't been able to properly decompress because I can't turn off one of the worst ac units I've ever seen. My stay is for 3 nights, non refundable, at a rate of $500. That's insane to pay that for this condition. I also saw the staff and management carrying Febreze everywhere with them when they go in and out...
Read moreMy family and I stayed here last weekend. The hotel is in a good location. The outside of the hotel and the lobby appeared decent. We were greeted by the employee at the front desk and given our room keys right away. That is were the good experience stopped. Once we entered the exterior doors closest to our room, we were hit with the pungent smell of a dead animal (? rodent). This smell carried to the hallway of the second floor where our room was located; fortunately we couldn't smell it inside our room, but there was something else that made our room smell awful (more on that later). The hallways were stained-not just a little but massive stains that streaked down the hallway carpet. It was like this on both of the floors we walked on. We only made a quick stop in the hotel room before going down to the pool so the kids could swim. The pool was cloudy but that was likely due to it being overchlorinated. There weren't any towels in the pool room, so I went to the front desk to ask for towels. At first they said they didn't have any, but then gave me a stack of four. When we unfolded the towels we noticed one had a large brown chunky spot on it and another was covered in long hairs. Gross. We then returned to our hotel room and examined it closer after our gross experiences with the hallways and pool towels. After pulling back the bedding, we noticed debris that indicated the bedding had not been washed prior to us arriving. The tub was dirty, cracked, and the faucet leaked. It was a hot day so we turned on the air conditioner, only to have to turn it off due to the rancid mold and mildew smell that was released. It was obvious the housecleaning staff cut corners and maintenance was severely lacking. We almost left that hotel even though we spent almost $300 for one night, but decided to go buy some bedding, towels, and disinfectant spray at Wal-Mart instead. There are too many other things to mention, but these are the highlights. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast or coffee because we couldn't even imagine what the food prep areas were like, which is unfortunate because it is one of the reasons we picked the hotel. I reached out to the company after this bad experience and just received a generic response. Do not stay here unless you like your...
Read moreI give 1 Star as they checked in another person on my name. ( he signed papers and unfortunately it was available in front desk when I was trying to check in.) Howcome person can sign on a different persons name. Do the hotel really check in with out checking the ID card. ( I feel like they sold my room to different people with same prize cause of I arrived like 1130 PM in night). Instead of selling new room they may sold the old booking to make that money on double booking. When I enquired and reported, they are simply saying it is person inability to read the name as both are from asian origin. My name almost like 25 chars and his name is like 10 chars still she is saying and her manager may in morning also supporting. When I was coming out, there is another lady literally using the * off as I see that thru the mirror. As I was loyalty customer to wyndham I would def not use their properties and will * off myself from them. They are illegally checked someone on my name, if any criminal offense happen on that room then my name will be taken first as it was in mine. Total policy violation and they are not even ready to accept the mistake. ( All these are my experience and it may differ to others as well and not sure if priceline bookings are always treated like this)
Hotel review: Pros: Good location, Neat washroom and toiletries. Good idea of coupon in breakfast to choose what you want. ( it may not be enough but it is also way of reducing the food waste). They should include kind of croissants or some other options to make everyone happy too. Cons: Really small room Outdated Bed Really noisy ( My room is provided next to service door and it started from 500 AM. Doors banging like a base drum). Always request room not next to service door. Breakfast is served by only one person and seems he was little tired as he served everyone from morning 6. When hotel is really full they can include another person there.
My Take: As I said before, I may not stay with Wyndham anymore ( Still has like 35K points with me) it is everyone's wish regarding the decision. However I wont recommend this property to my friends...
